Bitez specializes in sliders, fries, and shmakes, but with a healthier twist since all the food is baked and the shmakes are hybrid smoothie milkshakes. I came by on a Friday night for dinner with the fam, and we all decided to order the Megabitez, the Bitez flight, an order of fries, and some shmakes for the three of us to share. Everything was prepared and baked to order, so all the food came out fresh and hot, and as for the shmakes, they came out freshly blended.

My first impression of the Megabitez burger was that it was huge and hefty, even carrying this triple threat around the restaurant made my scrawny little toothpick arms sore. This baby is definitely shareable, so I was glad that my sister and I preemptively decided to share instead of ordering one for each of us. The mega slider was really good; the portion of meat was very generous and well-seasoned, all the toppings were fresh, and the delicious sauces just enhanced the overall flavor of the burger. I thought that since the fries were baked, they were going to be dry, nasty, and sad like “healthy” fries from a public school cafeteria in 2006, but boy oh boy was I wrong. I dipped a fry into the Bitez sauce that it came with and took an initial bite, and it was very crispity, crunchity, and perfectly salted with their trademark secret seasoning. The texture and flavor was like a normal fried French fry that’s doused in oil, but it was baked, so it was healthier and just as tasty as you run-of-the-mill French fry from other fast food places! It was great because I didn’t have to feel as guilty as I stuffed my piehole with fistfuls of the sauced-up Frenchies like Bruce Bogtrotter eating chocolate cake.

Even though I was supposed to share just the Megabitez with my sister, my grubby hands couldn’t stop myself from stealing one of the four sliders from my bro’s Bitez flight. I had to steal it fast while he wasn’t looking, so I wasn’t even sure which one I took, but all I know, is that whatever flavor it was, it tasted really good too. Also, the Bitez flight comes in the cutest little slide out box to hold your sliders and fries with a sauce holder on top for easy carrying, so you can munch-a-bunch and drive home while your food is fresh. I also got a PB&J shmake which was also very light and sweet and not too heavy on my stomach, even though I just ate tons of sliders and fries. The magic of Bitez is that even though I was really full, I didn’t feel like Morgan Spurlock after eating his first super-sized meal; I didn’t have that greasy, awful, heart-wrenching feeling I sometimes get after eating a deep-fried fast food bag.

So I would definitely recommend sliding into Bitez to slide some sliders...

Go take a drive to Bitez new spots located inside the mall of Plaza West Covina @bitez.burger 📍112 Plaza Dr, West Covina, CA 91790 Upstairs located in the food court area

The owner is all about healthy bitez. He cooks everything in the oven. Fun Facts: They don't require the extra oil and fat used in grilling. Also, cooking burgers in the oven can help to keep them juicy and tender. I am all for this 🙌🙌

Sliders is a great alternative than getting a whole burger. Sometimes, I don't know which burger to choose from and having a few sliders help with that decision. Order the Bitez Flight and you can get: 4 sliders if your choice Large fries Large soft drink All that for a whomping $19

Secret menu options You can basically build your own sliders and loaded fries Ask about it and he can do it for you That is pretty awesome. What creations would you make?

What I ate: • Bitez Flight: Bacon Mushroom (my favorite) Chicken Classic (my second favorite) I didn't go crazy on my fries and got one of their lemonades. Yum

• Milkshake | Cookie Monster Nothing can go wrong with cookie monster.

• Wings | I don't think it's on the menu but ask for them. It's juicy!

The 3rd of July had to be a challenging first day for any business during one of the biggest annual events in Sierra Madre, so I would cut them some slack! I went in there between 9-9:30m p.m. and got the Classic burger and thought the wait time was pretty quick for how busy they were. The people were obviously harried, but extremely nice, and my burger was absolutely delicious! I love that I can get a small portion and mix and match varieties. My friends shared a flight and I had a bite of the Mushroom burger, also yummy! I'm getting that next time! It was so great to see Bitez in the parade on July 5th and I hope they enjoy great success in our town for a long, long time!

Incidentally, I LOVE burgers and only allow myself one a week. Since theirs are smaller, I might up...

So quick disclaimer, I went and traveled to this place because the menu intrigued me, and didn't notice that it's under new management, and part of the menu is no longer available, of course my fault, bummer, so with that out of the way, this place is a tier above any fast food location, I would recommend this over McDonald's, Jack in box, Burger King, you get my drift. I do not recommend driving across town just for this, but if you are in the area, yeah, I suggest you give it a try if your in the mood for burger. And the service was really friendly,

This is located on the second floor food court. They serve sliders and milkshakes and wings. I got a #3 combo with chicken, mushroom, and classic. The food was pretty good for fast food sliders! If you want to try a little bit of different cravings this would be a good place . Fries were crispy and delicious The service was amazing! Belen is a joy and made my experience better with her wonderful self. I have been to Bitez once before and they were also the one who helped me then. She's genuinely friendly and great! .
