Steak purchase and food order. Selected 5 steaks to grill that were vacuum packed. This was the 2nd time purchasing steaks from this location. The first time I was satisfied with quality. One out the five of the steaks when opened was dark grey in color, a disappointment and we did not eat it. It smelled off and grey is not a color associated with fresh meat. Hoped that this new steak shop with locally sourced meat would have fresher products. It’s so hard to find a meat butcher with consistent selection and quality products, so disappointing. Shopped with my sons who also asked me to order hamburgers and a Philly Cheesesteak that are prepared onsite. The Philly cheesesteak looked great when I got home, a lot of meat and big portion. Problem was the meat was cut very thick and had hard fat/gristle attached to it that made it chewy and hard to eat, threw away more than half of it. Never ever. Will I go anywhere else for my my meats. Every time purchase my home or even just for lunch, the food is always extremely fresh tasty and never disappointing. My favorite things are the chicken and steak skewers on a bed of arugula. Their sweet potato fries are bomb too and I even got the pleasure of having chef's homemade chicken salad sandwich. I can't have any of these things without their house pickles which are absolutely perfect and go with every meal. The entire staff is incredibly friendly the moment you walk in the door and will always take care of you.
