My dad and I came on December 31st before noon after verifying they had stock of some stools we bought from a different homesense.
The customer service here with the two men in the back was a disappointment. When asking how we can purchase the stools, instead of instructing us to pay at the register and theyāll bring the stools out (as the other homesense did) , they kept pushing the Tjmax card to save 10%. This went on for several rounds of pushing regardless of the adamant no we gave (even asking when our mortgage closing date was). This encounter was extremely weird to have with floor associates.
The cash register lady was very nice and said someone would help us with the stools. At the last homesense- the floor associate brought 4 stools out and helped load our vehicle. After waiting for 15 minutes at the curb, my dad went inside to remind them, they then begrudgingly carted the stools out, left it on the curb, and told my elderly dad to āfigure it outā when asked if they can help put it in the car. I recently became handicapped; went to this store and asked if they had any mobile devices or wheelchairs. The associate simply said "no" with no further comments or explanations. I responded with, "so handicapped individuals cannot shop here?" And her response was, "yeah, I'm sorry". I don't know why, but I felt bad, or rather excluded. I tried to use a shopping cart as a walker but couldn't get down the cluttered aisles...some of which where only traverseable by one cart or person...so not navigable. I assume they abide by American Disabilities Act (ADA) but I couldn't even get down the aisles. I thought to purchase a wheelchair for $130.00 on Amazon to drop off for other handicapped individuals so that they don't have to feel excluded as I did. I love TJX and Homesense, just wanted to say shame on you....in this day and age "clean your aisles if you don't provide any other assistance to handicapped...

I told him to stay away from my children and he kept following us. Do not shop here if you have a family with you - very very bad experience. I was going to buy some more items and decided to leave. This employee wasnāt even listening to his management. I hope the management at this store takes this complaint of harassment very seriously and takes a closer look into the skill set and behavioral personalities of the people they hire.
