"A Reliable Choice for Framing Needs"
Michael's frames are a popular choice for framing artwork, photographs, and other items. Here's a review based on my experience:
Variety of Options: Michael's offers a wide range of frame styles, sizes, and materials. Whether you're framing a classic painting or a modern print, you'll likely find a frame that suits your needs.
Customization: They provide custom framing services, allowing you to tailor the frame to your specific artwork or item. This is particularly useful for unique or irregularly shaped pieces.
Quality: The frames are generally of good quality. They are sturdy and well-crafted, which is important for preserving and displaying your cherished items.
Affordable Pricing: Michael's often runs promotions and offers competitive pricing for their frames. You can find options to fit various budget ranges.
Helpful Staff: The staff at Michael's stores are usually knowledgeable and ready to assist with frame selection and customization. They can provide recommendations and guidance.
Convenient Locations: Michael's stores are widespread, making it easy to find a location near you for all your framing needs.
Materials: They offer various types of glass, including UV-protective glass to safeguard your art from fading over time.
DIY Options: If you enjoy DIY projects, Michael's also provides materials for creating your own frames and mats.
While Michael's is a reliable choice for framing, it's essential to note that for extremely valuable or irreplaceable artwork, you may want to consider specialized framing shops that offer conservation-grade materials and expertise. However, for most everyday framing needs, Michael's frames provide good value...
Read moreI love Michael's for all of my craft supplies and projects. However, there is an older woman who works here (gray hair at her roots, long face, always scowling, never smiles) who is absolutely MISERABLE. First occasion, I asked her for more information regarding the UPS drop off service they offered and was presented with an attitude (shrugging of the shoulders and eye rolling). I asked to speak to the manager and she nodded in a general direction. I then stood in front of the manager, waiting to be acknowledged to no avail. Second occasion, I was at check out. This woman said not a single word to me (which is fine) but I had to remind her to scan my rewards card and coupon. Then, after not looking at me once and scowling the entire time, she shoves my purchases at me and says, "Here." Looks like I'm going to have to make my future purchases at Joanne's....
Read moreOne of my absolute favorite craft stores. I never walk it if it with a receipt for less then 50-60$. HOWEVER, if u want to save an extra buck since thing may get quite expensive there, make sure to check their online coupons and sign up for the rewards program. They almost always have online coupons that u can print at home or even search up in the store on ur phone, it literally takes seconds. Last time I went I got 25% off entire purchase including sales items, 40% off one regular priced iteam and 50% off another regular priced item. Also when you provide a coupon for an x% off of ONE item it imediatly takes off the x% off the most expensive (unless it's a VERY expensive item there are restrictions written on bottom of coupons read them to make sure) item which is really nice so you can actually save a good 15$...
