I was able to establish an honest connection with the AT HOME Carpet and Flooring's employees, specially with Ronnie, the business owner. I think building rapport and establishing a professional relationship of care is important in order to build trust among all the parties involved.

Ronnie was able to provide me with that confidence in his flooring business, his own business acumen and his workers' expertise.

I think Ronnie is the real deal because he knows this flooring business so well and it shows in the manner in which he comports himself but also in how he delegates specific tasks to his employees and still under his close supervision.

My project consisted of removing the carpets from the entire house (3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, small kitchen, stairs and large entry hallway) followed by sanding, staining and finishing of my pre-existing harwood floors underneath the carpets except in the kitchen and entry hallway that received an LVP installation. All done by AT HOME Carpet and Flooring.

I can say that my experience was positive and satisfactory throughout the whole process and the entire team worked very hard under Ronnie's leadership to meet the demands and deadline of my project wich was done seamlessly and as agreed upon initially.

Special regard to Ronnie, who went above and beyond to provide me with suggestions that could enhance my project including cutting excessive costs and or doing work that was not indispensable for my purpose.

The attention was highly personalized to my needs and desires and there was a coordinated effort to meet in the middle by this business' owner (as far as adjusting the project to my budget and time constrains) and bring the project to completion.

At all times the communication was very fluid, constant, and effective. I believe Ronnie is an effective communicator even when using text messages. He's definitely very busy and is pulled in many directions at a time on a daily basis but I cannot say I felt that my project was being neglected, ever. If anything, I will say at times, I felt pushed by the team to reach the finish line. However, when my schedule wasn't as flexible; arrangements were made by Ronnie to accomodate me.

I understand that not every person will share the same anecdotes and outcomes but I also believe in opportunities and so far my floors look they way it was expected and as promised Time will tell and if needed, I will update this review.

I will definitely recommend this flooring business AT HOME Carpeting and Flooring to anyone that's looking for an experienced team with strong communication skills and the ability to get the work done with the required quality and on time. I will emphasize Ronnie's confidence in getting the job done by initially only putting $100 to secure the job being scheduled and the final payment is done when the job is complete. This kind of flexibility and confidence is rare in the field.

The MOST absolutely atrocious level of customer service I have EVER received. I hope that this review can be helpful to someone who is considering giving this company their business. As a business owner, myself, to say that I am truly shocked at this company's level of customer service would be an understatement. I recently used At Home's services for a flooring installation project at my place of business. The flooring was installed in two offices and one bathroom. At the recommendation of the installation team, the toilet was removed to install the flooring. However, the toilet was not reinstalled properly; it was simply glued to the floor rather than bolted. We noticed this issue when we began to smell sewage from the base of the toilet, and later noticed a good amount of water seeping out of the base of the toilet. We called the company, who agreed to come back to reset the toilet, which they did. A few days later, we noticed more water leaking from the base of the toilet. We called the owner again in an attempt to remedy the situation for good, which the owner refused to do, stating that "they are not plumbers," and should therefore, not be liable to fix the problem that the installation team created. The owner also made insulting comments about my business, including asking if "things are so tough over there at your business that you're too cheap to hire a plumber," and stating that my business should "stop being so cheap and hire a plumber." He also implied that I was lying about the installation of the toilet, stating that he believed that I had actually installed it myself (obviously not the case). This language is obviously completely inappropriate towards anyone, let alone a customer. I now have a leaking toilet that was not previously leaking. I am now responsible for paying for it to be fixed. I would never recommend this...

FANTASTIC COMPANY - DON'T SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE! I had damage to my engineered hard wood flooring in several rooms of my home after a water leak. I had shopped at several flooring retail stores in my local area thinking the best thing to do was to work with a "local" company in my town in southern NJ. These local retailers had me so terribly confused because each store was telling me something different about how to repair and replace what was damaged and with what product (hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank)...some said I would need to tear up my entire floor on the first floor, hire a mover, move out all my furniture and belongings to a Pod or storage unit, and have to stay in a hotel while the repairs were being done. The cost estimates were all over the road map and very expensive. I was going in circles not knowing who to believe and trust, and what was the right thing to do. I then I contacted At Home Flooring based on a recommendation from a neighbor - I SHOULD HAVE ONLY CALLED THEM INITIALLY. I finally breathed a sigh of relief. Ron the owner and his sales team Gayle and Dave were more than FANTASTIC and so helpful in advising me. I immediately felt a trust with their recommendations. Ron worked diligently to get me samples for flooring from several manufacturers to try to match my existing flooring (we were only replacing several rooms where the floor was damaged.) They came up with a solution that did not require the entire house to be turned upside down, I didn't need to remove all my furniture and belongings, and I didn't need to move out of my home. The installers were the most meticulous, thorough, hard working, and extremely courteous men. They did a beautiful job and the flooring looks fantastic. I COULDN'T...
