Friday, March 4, 2022 was opening day for this Goodwill adventure and I could not go until late afternoon. There is a warm, simplicity to the store that makes you smile upon entering. I was looking for YA, fiction and classics. The books that I was looking for were priced at $2.99 each. I would say most copies there I found to be in good used condition. Some copies even looked new. I found the shelves were not over crammed with books. Sprinkled along the bookshelves are "valuable" goodwill items. I saw Fenton glassware, Samonite make up case and even a metal toy cash register. In the Harry Potter section, there was a pair of Harry Potter boots and even make your own Ravenclaw scarf kit. Their organization was interesting. I find that used bookstores often have their way of organizing books. This one had YA sprinkled throughout the store beyond their YA section. I saw it in fiction, romance, and mystery sections. My advice to you is to be sure to wander the store so you don't miss a title you might be looking for. In the front by the cash register are Kindle and ebook readers to purchase if you are interested. Everyone checking out, wanted to talk to the guy behind the cash register about this unique Goodwill store. It was interesting to listen to his answers as I wander the shelves. I will be back to make purchases for my...
Read moreBooks are organized by genre. I found many popular recent books. Most books ranged from $3 to $5 per book. There was also a nice selection of board games, dvds, CDs, video games etc. It seemed like the miscellaneous items were very curated, compared to regular Goodwills. Things like microscopes, globes, lamps and such. Don’t go in expecting to find one exact book. It’s a thrift store. Take your time browsing and you’ll find a nice selection of books you didn’t expect to find there! I will definitely be back as...
Read moreIf you’re looking for older titles, this is the place for you! New books are hard to keep on the shelves, according to the gentleman running the store on the day I went. He was a big help finding certain titles and authors I was looking for. I left with five books that cost me $20 total. This is the perfect book store for when you want to read, but don’t know what book to pick. I’m happy I stopped here for my summer...
