El Jefe's Smothered Brats and Tots — Local services in Westminster

5 Stars for being a small business, but these guys dropped the ball at the food truck carnival in Northglenn. Waited in line for Colorado tots (middle of the afternoon) and they were already out of green chili. They didn't cross it off the menu so we wound up waiting in a long line just to order regular tots. Once the order was in it took about half an hour for the food to come out. The tots were OK but it was a waste of time. Owner seems nice with positive energy, but I walked away very frustrated. Not sure if this was their first big event but they were definitely...

Ran into this food truck at the Northglenn Food Truck event. Food is pretty good, but they have $13.99 listed on the menu and it came out to $17 and change, which is too high. The person taking the money said it was Northglenn tax, but upon pressing further it was revealed that they upcharge in addition to tax to cover the entry fee for the event and don't disclose that to customers. I would much prefer to have your menu prices be all inclusive. Seems dishonest to have hidden charges and being lied to that it was a tax...

Ryan and Renee are awesome. We’ve been going to El Jefe since they first opened and fell in love right away. Their food is sinfully rich, fresh, and delicious. Emphasis on the fresh! The sauces are just to die for. I have eaten their vegan and gluten free menu as well as their regular menu and it is all fantastic. Our one year old loves their tots (and I can’t get him to eat potatoes at home!). These folks are true...
