Having to make the decision to move a loved one to a living community can be a very difficult, overwhelming, and daunting decision to make. There are plenty of resources that you can use to find communities in your area. But is it the right size? Do they provide the correct care your loved one needs? Whats the staff:resident ratio? Whats included? What is not included? These are just a few of many questions that you have to consider when finding a living community for your loved one.

Working with Randy and Sara at Oasis made finding a community for my dad WAY less stressful. Our initial meeting Randy and Sara got a little background on Dad and his needs/wants. Within a day or two they had a list of communities that may be a good fit. Not only do they help narrow down possible communities but they coordinate visits with each community. Although the first round of communities were great we didn't seem to find one to fit. Randy and Sara were able to fine tune a selection for a second round and found a community that dad may enjoy.

Throughout the entire process there was never any pressure to make a decision. Randy and Sara are a free resource to families. Their only goal is to find the best fit for your family. Overall the process took about 2 months from our first meeting to transitioning dad to the community he chose. Just like buying a house, traveling, or financial planning these are all things that you can do on your own. But having a knowledgeable resource that can help you navigate the hurdles is way easier. We are very appreciative of the exemplary service we received from Anna and the entire Oasis Senior Advisors North Metro Denver team! When the care needs of our elderly friend exceeded her ability to remain in her home, we needed to make a decision about her housing as efficiently and quickly as possible. Thankfully, we contacted Oasis Senior Advisors and were immediately assisted by Anna in identifying the housing needs and wants of our friend. Within a few days, Anna had compiled a list of retirement communities that met our criteria and assisted us with reviewing each community in an efficient manner. Our search was narrowed and Anna arranged for tours to the communities, assisted with asking questions and obtained additional clarifying information following tours. Anna was always professional, courteous, attentive and responsive. With her assistance, we were able to find the perfect assisted living community, sign paperwork and complete move in within a two week time span. Anna even provided us with the names of moving companies who were available to assist with the move over a holiday weekend! Our friend's move from rehab to her new home in an assisted living community was seamless and problem-free. This is in reference to my experience with Oasis and Shana Carey. During what has easily been my darkest hours in dealing with end stage Dementia, I was fortunate enough to have Shana as a resource. The time, attention and compassion she showed myself and my family member was absolutely incredible. She very clearly presented me with all the options, explained the details of each and helped me navigate this overwhelming journey of finding long term care for him . I can say with 100% certainty, this transition would not have been nearly as organized without Shana's daily involvement. Not only was she looking out for the best interest of my him, but me as well, as his full time care giver. She made herself available to me at anytime, and when I felt lost, she's who guided me through this process. I've never met anyone with so much compassion for a total stranger and willingness to help, even when it seemed hopeless. When Shana says "Girl, I got you", she means it!

I don't know how I can ever repay her for what she's done for my family and myself. A simple "Thank you" doesn't seem sufficient. If she has ever wondered if what she does has changed someone's life for the better, I can say she made a huge impact on my life. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her during all of this.
