Have been here multiple times, usually order the same thing. New employees need to be hired and trained here, they are going to cause the business to lose customers, and im never coming back.
Ordered 2 sandwiches for me and my wife, got to the park and we realized they were missing the main ingredients. Called the store to let them know. Employee is instantly hostile saying they can't give a refund, told them that was ok, I didn't need a refund, if they could be so kind and just remake the sandwich, that would be great. Employee tells me she made the sandwiches herself, and she knows the ingredient was added. I asked if the employee was then accusing me of lying and that I was willing to bring them back and show it to them. Employee says that would not be necessary, she would leave a note for the manager and I could call tomorrow. Thanked her.
I call the next day, ask for the manager, employee is instantly rude and states -"what for?". Employee hands over the phone to manager, and I can hear the employee making fun of me, even apologizing for it before the manager picks up the phone, who clearly reprimanded her because the phone was probably not on hold or mute. I tell the manager I heard what the employee said, and they didn't deny it, I told them that this is a problem. Manager then turns hostile towards me and says I made their employee cry the previous day. I was perfectly kind to the employee when I reported the issue, even told them a refund was not necessary and that it wasn't a big deal, remaking the food would be perfectly fine. Manager then becomes hostile towards me on the phone, says Im rude and made their employee cry the previous day and that they believe the employee. I asked them if calls are recorded because they can listen to the call and see I was actually quite nice, was told calls are not recorded and that they are siding with the employee. I did not feel comfortable picking up my remake anymore or having these people anywhere near my food.
You have extremely weird and overly sensitive staff here that will run this business to the ground, with no customer service skills or professionalism what so ever. I originally was not going to report this, because I figured it was an isolated issue, and it's not fair to rate the business because of the one experience with one staff member, also maybe they just had a bad day. After this interaction? It's well deserved, because it shows the issue goes beyond one staff member, even the manager is the issue. Employees that think they're "standing up for each other" when really they are just being psychotic and there was never an issue to begin. If you can't handle someone asking you to remake a sandwich because the order was wrong, then you should probably not be working with people. The response should have just been -"hey sorry man, we can remake the sandwich for you no problem". That would have been the end.
I really hope these calls are recorded so the owner knows the type of people he has running his business. I will never come back again, neither will my wife. Even if I was given free sandwiches for life, I would never set foot in this place ever again. Most bizarre interaction and series of events I have ever had with anyone.
If the owner cares and/or is interested, here are times times/dates to pull up the calls and review if possible: 5/10/2025 at 5:26PM. 5/11 at both 2:42 and 2:48PM. Second call on the following day (3rd and final call), was me taking a minute to decide if I wanted to give the manager a chance to rectify the situation, I decided to give them a final chance, told them I heard what the employee said, they chose to argue with me and be confrontational. I gave the business 3 chances total, all 3 times I had children overreact and argue with me over remaking a sandwich. Situation cannot be fixed, I don’t trust anyone there anywhere near my food, as it got super...
Read more*Revising my review after their manager, Megan, got in touch with me. There was a miscommunication with the employees regarding the coupons from the grand opening, and I’ll be able to use it upon returning. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu!
I came here for the grand opening and had a great experience. I was one of the first customers and got a delicious meatball sub for free, plus I spun their prize wheel and won a $25 gift card! They also handed out $2 coupons, so it was a win all around. I just returned today with my gift card to get another sandwich and mentioned I had the $2 coupon from the grand opening and was told they are no longer good. There was no expiration date on the coupon cards, and I realized it’s just a few days over a month ago since the grand opening happened - not as though I tried to come back 6 months or a year later and use it. I think that if you’re trying to get the word out about your restaurant and a customer returns, I would honor the coupons. If your customers have a positive experience they are more likely to keep coming back and tell their friends about you. Just my two cents, and my reason for removing a star. The sandwiches are very good in my opinion, and I intend to come back and try more from the menu. I had the Italian beef today, and it...
Read moreMy family wasn’t really hungry, so someone suggested sandwiches. We looked at several locations and decided Yampa sounded good.
You can build your own sandwich, which my son chose to do. There are so many options! For example, you can choose from 10 varieties of cheese!
My wife and I both choose the Summit. I debated about taking off the cranberry chutney because this combination isn’t something I would have ever created. However, I’m glad to left it as is. The sandwich was simply fantastic! The baguette wasn’t hard, the Brie and the chutney worked well together, and the chipotle mayo added just the right amount of heat. And there was a nice helping of ham, too.
In my opinion, this is one of the better sandwich shops I’ve been to. I’d highly recommend grabbing a...
