What a disappointment to visit St. Bruno recently for their 5:30 mass. After previously writing a positive review about it's reverence towards the Holy Eucharist, they refused to offer it on my tongue. The ironic thing is they had just shared an update about the Eucharistic revival event that had just taken place. What a shame. How does the Church expect the faithful to believe in the true presence, when their own priests don't respect its sanctity? I will not be going back to St. Bruno. Read moreMy granddaughter made her First Holy Communion at this church. The communion had been postponed because of the Coronavirus. We were delighted that it finally happened. However, we were given rules to adhere to for the girls to wear. That being said the rules were not followed. For example: Girls were to wear socks or tan colored nylons. I saw girls with no socks or nylons. Opened toe shoes. Veils that were not shoulder length. We couldn't find one so my granddaughter only had a fake flower crown. We followed the rules. Beautiful church and choir, but if you are looking for a church that honors a more traditional veneration of the mass, this is not it.The head priest Fr. Dave & fellow priests will refuse to give you the host by mouth/tongue/kneeling, and will not give you an explanation as to why except for "this is the way our church does it" (which breaks the Code of Canon law 843 §1).
