Panera Bread — Restaurant in Whittier

I went to Panera Bread for my first time with my gal pal. She had told me that they had really good macaroni and cheese. I was surprised to hear this because I thought that it was a place that sold sandwiches only. So we both went in and we ordered macaroni and cheese and it is so expensive it's ridiculous absolutely ridiculous! Yes the macaroni and cheese is to die for, but I won't be eating there again due to the price! another thing that happened at Panera Bread was that my girlfriend found an eyelash in her food! After seeing that I was not able to eat my lunch as it made me sick to my stomach to see a hair in her food! So I don't recommend Panera Bread for two reasons their price is ridiculous and the bread that they serve with your meal is cold and rock hard! if you're a bakery and you sell bread why wouldn't you have fresh soft warm bread that you would serve to your customers? I simply do not understand why their bread is cold and hard! It's literally bound to break your teeth! Although they did give my gal pal a replacement macaroni and cheese, we both ended up taking our food to go as both of our stomachs and turned at the site of an eyelash well embedded into her meal, mac and cheese. Can you believe it was over $9 for what they consider a large macaroni and cheese? The large would leave even a toddler hungry! No cannot recommend...

The female manager I spoke to tonight was absolutely terrible with her “I can’t do anything for you” “I can’t send out the bread bowl we forgot” “call doordash/your delivery service and they might reimburse you”. Absolutely ridiculous… had this not been my mothers birthday dinner (I’m out of the state) I wouldn’t have minded this 2nd “forgot the bread bowl” excuse. Train your managers to help out your mess up. Treat people with respect and own up to your mistake, it’s just a mistake… however pawning it off on the delivery guy for food you didn’t give him to deliver is so ridiculous. Own your mistake and make it right. Train your “manager on duty” to fix a problem VS brush it off on someone else. This was my mothers birthday dinner!!! This manager doesn’t care anything about her customers, just the bottom line of her end of day numbers....
