Not often do i go to what i would consider a perfect restaurant. I was in Wichita on a stop for my road trip and wanted something local and different, Meddys fit that bill. I got the Garlic Chicken Platter. EVEN IF the food wasn't that great it would be hard to complain because the platter was $14 and i was absolutely stuffed when i left, BUT it wasn't when i tell you this was hands down the most flavorful and juicy chicken I've ever had. The skin was crispy, even the white meat was dripping with juice. The potato's were perfectly roasted and don't get me started on the complementary Pita. The atmosphere was fantastic with live music and beautiful decor, all of the staff was super friendly and attentive. If i could give them a 10 star review i would. I've eaten at all sorts of restaurants all over the country, and I almost never feel the need to leave a review and rave about a restaurant. Its my understanding that Meddys is a small chain in Kansas, but we need a location in southwest Ohio. If i am ever back in Kansas i will be sure to make a stop back in to Meddys.

As hard as it is to disappoint me, Meddys managed to do it tonight. I sat at the bar, ordered a soda and a sandwich, and was immediately asked for my card, just because I wasn’t drinking or starting a tab and said I would just settle in cash. When I pointed out that if I were sitting literally one table behind me, no server would ask for my card upfront and for the second time, the employee just said “it policy.” I say it’s poor customer service and lack of reasoning at best. So I paid my $17 before the order was even sent to the kitchen, and instead of hospitality, I got sneared at. That’s not just poor customer service, it’s insulting. For a local restaurant I’ve always thought of as a great place, this was a surprisingly disappointing experience. I want Meddys to succeed, but this lack of service is not cool and not what customers expect. Especially in 2025. Use common sense next time. Please.

Rare find! I was really impressed to find this quality Mediterranean food in Wichita! Driving from KC to OKC, we stopped for a quick bite but were in for a real treat! Delicious authentic dishes, made with fresh ingredients, combined with super quick service and amazing prices - deserve the highest praise! We ordered Garlicky Chicken, Hummus plate with beef, Fattoush Salad, and Chocolate Mousse for dessert. We paid about $40 for all that food at dinner time! Their portions are huge, we’re taking half of it home with us! The place is very spacious and clean. It is family friendly, sports fans friendly, big gatherings friendly. They have a bar, and big screen TVs throughout, even outside. I have to add that their Hummus Plate with beef was as good as we had it in Israel, and that speaks volumes about this restaurant

Meddys is a name that resonates with the heart and soul of Mediterranean cuisine, and my recent dining experience there only served to deepen my appreciation for this culinary tradition. This restaurant offers a journey through the Mediterranean with its authentic flavors and warm hospitality, making it a standout dining destination. As I embarked on this gastronomic adventure, the first delight to grace my table was the hummus. Smooth, creamy, and garnished with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika, it was an impeccable start. Paired with warm, freshly baked pita bread, each bite was a harmonious blend of simplicity and depth, a true testament to the art of Mediterranean cooking. But the true revelation of the evening was the garlic potatoes. These golden morsels were nothing short of heavenly. Roasted to perfection and tossed in a fragrant garlic sauce, they were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Each bite was a crispy, garlicky delight that left me craving more. It was clear that Meddys had mastered the art of transforming simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes. The fattoush salad was another highlight of my meal. This vibrant dish, bursting with fresh vegetables, crisp lettuce, and pieces of toasted pita, was dressed in a zesty sumac-infused vinaigrette that brought the entire salad to life. It was a refreshing counterpoint to the rich flavors of the other dishes, showcasing the diversity and balance inherent in Mediterranean cuisine.Beyond the food, the ambiance of Meddys added to the overall enchantment. The restaurant's decor, with its warm tones and Mediterranean-inspired accents, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Combined with the attentive and friendly service, it was the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.Meddys is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of Mediterranean culture and cuisine. From the exquisite garlic potatoes to the smooth hummus and the refreshing fattoush salad, each dish is a testament to the chef's dedication to flavor and quality. For those seeking an authentic Mediterranean meal that delights the senses and warms the soul, Meddys is an unparalleled choice. I left with a full stomach, a happy heart, and an...

Meddys is a culinary oasis, a haven for those seeking the pinnacle of Mediterranean cuisine. From the moment you step through the door, you’re enveloped in an ambiance of warmth and hospitality, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Let’s start with the food. Each dish at Meddys is a masterpiece crafted with precision and passion. From the moment you take your first bite, you’re transported on a journey of flavors, textures, and aromas that awaken the senses. Whether you’re indulging in their perfectly grilled lamb shawarma, savoring the freshness of their salads, or diving into their decadent desserts, each dish is a testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs.

But what truly sets Meddys apart is its staff. From the moment you’re greeted at the door to the final farewell, every team member exudes warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. They anticipate your needs before you realize them, ensuring your dining experience surpasses all expectations. Their passion for hospitality is palpable, creating an atmosphere where you feel not just like a guest but like family.

On a bustling Saturday night, I enjoyed dining at Meddys with my family. As we sat down to enjoy our meal, we were greeted by a friendly and smiley team who not only guided us through the menu with expert recommendations but also took the time to share stories about the origins of each dish, adding an extra layer of depth to our culinary journey.

Midway through our meal, we were surprised by a complimentary dessert platter, courtesy of the manager, as a token of appreciation for choosing Meddys. It was a gesture that truly touched our hearts and exemplified the genuine generosity and hospitality that defines this establishment.

In conclusion, Meddys is more than just a restaurant – it’s an experience. With its exquisite food, impeccable service, and heartfelt hospitality, it’s no wonder it stands as a shining gem in...

The service was terrible. First of all, when my friend ordered, she was overcharged for hummus that was supposed to be free for sitting outside. When my food came, I found a piece of tape in my garlicky potatoes which is disgusting and made me completely lose my appetite. When I took the food back, the employee barely apologized to me, did not get a manager. She asked the cooks to remake just the potatoes and they were all looking at what I had found in my food. I had to ask to get the entire plate remade, and she was making excuses saying that what I had found was actually a piece of paper which is equally gross. It took 15 minutes and when she brought the new plate, the wrap was not remade, only the sides. I asked to just get a refund which she said she had to go in the back to do and asked me to call back in 1.5 hours if the refund wasn’t back in my account. I refused and asked her to do it immediately. The manager, Doris, said she wasn’t sure if the refund would go back on my card from the front computer and asked for my credit card information so she could pull up the ticket. I have no idea why she would need my personal credit card information to find the ticket when there was only about 5 customers in the restaurant. She went to process the refund and came out after 10 minutes and told me the refund should be in my account within 24 hours. Throughout this experience the manager was rude to me and not apologetic. I am not even sure if I will get the refund. I will not be returning to this restaurant and do not...
