I know there’s a lot of negative talk about Claire’s and piercings, I’ve had my own bad experiences with untrained, uncaring, snotty teenaged Claire’s staff in the past. But I’ve completely forgotten all of that after today. Our piercing staff (Emily, ask for her!) told us she was 19, but she was more mature than most 25 year olds. She had the patience of a SAINT with my screaming nervous child! She spoke such kind words of encouragement to my daughter and made the whole experience more enjoyable than I anticipated! A lot had changed since I was a child going to Claire’s for my first piercing and I’m so pleased about it! Hire more people like Emily and this store will exceed company...

Me and my friends went to get our ears pierced and right when we walked in we noticed that the customer service overall wasn’t great. We went up and asked for pricing and she said the cheapest was $35. This was correct but was only for the rapid solution. She didn’t even tell us about the six week solution until we specifically asked about. When we asked she seemed upset that we asked/ knew about the other solution. The other solution was approximately $10 cheaper than the rapid solution but she declined to tell us this information until after one of us checked out. I had the pleasant experience of receiving both ears pierced at Claire’s in East Wichita Mall. A first ever, as a transgender female. The 2 young ladies at the store, Alex, and another staff, unfortunately I did not catch her name, were both very sweet and treated me with utmost respect. Alex, did my piercing and did a superb job.
