My first time dining here! Honestly was really good experience. I did get slightly confused about who to talk to place the order right away. Although the iPad screens are a little bit further in so it was slightly confusing, but nothing too hard to figure out. I also got confused on how to dine in as opposed to a takeout order and how that works. You're supposed to choose a number with a placard and then edit that as your order number so that way they know where to bring your food. So I had to ask questions to clarify that as well so it was slightly confusing on that end as well. With all those things being said, the staff is extremely helpful in clarifying and getting things taken care of because of the mistakes that I made being a first-time customer. They did not provide the gloves for handling the food right away which I'm not sure is something you have to ask for but It did help with the wings of fire. We had the golden and the wings of fire wings. The golden boneless wings were really good and the wings of fire were genuinely hot. An Asian style heat not the hottest thing I've eaten but definitely hot enough to give you some fire in your mouth and make you sweat. Whoever the bellhop was or the one bringing the food out or washing tables was very helpful and attentive to any problems that we had. The lady's behind the counter seemed pretty helpful as well. Overall a great experience. just slightly confusing maybe a few more placards or signs to direct where to order and what to do may be helpful to start. Will...

✨ A Hidden Gem in Wichita! ✨
I don’t usually write reviews, but I couldn’t let my experience at BBQ Chicken go unshared. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a feeling like I was right at home. The aroma alone was enough to let me know I was in for something special — and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.
The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, with just the right balance of bold flavor and comforting seasoning. You can tell the team takes pride in their cooking — every bite tasted like it was made with care and passion. Whether it was the classic Golden Original or the spicy Secret Sauce, every flavor told its own delicious story.
More than just amazing food, this place has heart. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure every guest felt welcomed and appreciated. You can feel the love in this place — in the food, in the atmosphere, and in the service.
BBQ Chicken in Wichita has definitely earned a special place in my heart (and stomach). I’ll absolutely be back, and I’ll be bringing friends and family with me. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll leave full, happy, and grateful you discovered this local...
Read moreThe food was decent. I wish it all came out at the same time though instead of my fries then my chicken coming out about 5 or so mins later. I was disappointed thought with something I saw happen in the store. What happened was someone came in and stole food, but provided the information needed to pick it up. I felt like the employee handled this well by reaching out to the customer who had their food stolen to verify and fix it. But then that employee got ridiculed for not chasing after the stolen food. Glad the employee stood up for themselves and said they were not going to chase after stolen food. Which I agree with because one that food could not be resold anyways and two if that thief got hostile that food is not worth the employee getting hurt. This confrontation happened in front of the entire restaurant. I am very impressed with the employee and how they handled it, but the manager getting on to him and asking him to chase after the thief is wrong and uncalled for, especially doing it in front of the entire restaurant where there are other employees and customers. Completely uncalled for and very disappointing to see. After watching this I am not sure that I would be going back if this is how the manager treats...
