Do not stay here - the surrounding hotels are in the same price range and I’m sure they can’t be worse than this hotel. First of all, the lobby you check in at - you either have to go up some stairs to the second floor or go downstairs to the first floor. You have to go downstairs to get to the elevator which is not very handicap accessible or easy when you have large bags. The other option is to walk outside all the way to the end of the building to come in on the first floor. Next, the rooms are not quiet. They have paper thin walls. There was something beeping the entire night (not in our room, but we could hear it). The hotel is right off the highway and we listened to motorcycles go by the whole night. The neighbors took a shower at 1 am and the water pipes literally sounded like power tools going off. It was extremely loud and woke the kids who somehow managed to fall asleep in the first place. The light in the bathroom - I like good lighting, but this light was blinding. It was so bright. The toilet moved when you sat on it. Not just the seat, the entire toilet. Lastly breakfast - it consisted of bagels (the only hot item if you toast it), prepackaged muffins, prepackaged hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and yogurt. None of it looked appetizing, we turned around and walked out, ended up getting breakfast on the road. When the surrounding hotels are in the same price range and offer better breakfasts, you’re better off going to a different hotel. If we would have known about the breakfast options, we wouldn’t have stayed there. We don’t ask for much when we stay at hotels - a clean room, a good night’s sleep, and a hot breakfast. At least the room was clean, so 1 out of 3. Please, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We’ve stayed at other Hilton hotels on this trip (not Spark) and they were so much better. This stay was such a disappointment coming...
Read moreThis was my second stay at a Spark by Hilton, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for a high-quality budget hotel option, Spark by Hilton Wichita East is truly a standout. The hotel shines in cleanliness and comfort, with immaculately kept public areas and spotless guest rooms. The rooms feel fresh and modern, featuring thoughtful amenities like a large flat-screen TV with streaming, an in-room refrigerator, a convenient desk space, and wireless chargers on both the desk and nightstand.
The décor is vibrant and uplifting, creating a warm ambiance that feels more upscale than typical budget options. The breakfast setup is simple—mainly bagels with a variety of spreads—but it's a convenient touch for a quick morning bite. The hotel also offers a small swimming pool and exercise room, perfect for those wanting to unwind or keep up with their fitness routine.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional quality of sleep. My room was wonderfully quiet, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that I woke up fully rested and refreshed. It’s always a pleasure to find such a relaxing environment at this price point.
For budget-conscious travelers who don’t want to compromise on the essentials, this hotel is a fantastic value and an excellent addition to the Hilton family. I’ll definitely continue choosing Spark by Hilton whenever...
Read moreWhen I pulled into the parking lot and saw how full it was AND saw lots of young children arriving I was VERY concerned about how quiet my room would be. I shouldn't have been. They must have some sort of incredible soundproofing in this place because I never heard a sound of any kind - voices in the hall, doors slamming, toilets in other rooms flushing, TVs - the entire night. I didn't even hear noise from the parking lot outside my window and I was on the first floor! This was very welcome after driving all day. This place was also incredibly clean. The area is safe and offers options for whatever you want to do while you're there - eat, shop, etc. Would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is their non-refundable pet fee at $75 is not competitive with nearby hotels or in fact any hotels I stay at (3xs as much as another hotel a block away I've staid at). With no carpet in the rooms, this seems unnecessarily high. Still, they are top notch for the things that matter to me - quiet,...
