Never was greeted or received any help during my trip. I had been browsing online for a couple weeks for a few shirts for the KS Showdown game this weekend. I didn't realize Wichita had a store front, so rather than ordering I drove an hour from McPherson to shop in store instead. Several of my online faves were hung up high on the walls, and nobody was ever around to offer help. Previously working retail myself I'd have been willing to get them down on my own but they still seemed pretty high up for me to feel comfortable not embarrassing myself by making a mess. Instead, I found a few options at ground level to try on (there was a sign to ask an associate for assistance with fitting rooms, but nobody was around so I went in myself to one that was unlocked). I found one shirt that worked, and when I went to checkout I saw both employees at an empty cash wrap, and a smaller blonde girl texting on her phone who didn't notice me until I spoke to her to clarify which register she wanted me on. Happy with my purchase but I think I'll save the drive and shop online with Rally House...
Read moreI was disappointed with amount they wanted for Kansas City Chiefs gear the entire building was empty and the manager would not come out of the back her McDonalds was more important than coming out to talk with me about Kansas City Chiefs gear that had last year super bowel logo which other places are pretty much mark so low just to get the gear out the door. The one high spot was the gentleman that help me look for a size. But why have a store manager if they can't make decisions in the store. There excuse that corporate sets the price. Agin why have a store manager. The east store was worse the staff was more interested with talking around a desk than helping the customer. The one lady seem like she wanted to get back to chatting with other two than helping the customer, very sad no wonder the store was complete empty. Maybe cooperate might want to come down and give some customer training instead of sitting around and pricing stuff that should be used as a give away to loyal...
Read moreI went to the West Rally House to buy my sister some K-State products. Upon entering the store I was greeted immediately by store personnel. I asked them where the products were located and Assistant Manager Josh promptly stopped what he was doing and took me to the K-State merchandise. Unlike other places I have shopped and won't return to, he did NOT point his finger and said it's over there. He was very eager to help and offered further assistance if needed. Also, he left me alone which I appreciated and did not hover over me. You do that to me and I'm out of your store!!! I spent 16 years working at Towne East Mall retail, so I know the game. And I know from experience that some stores have quotas to meet or exceed, they're pay depends upon it. Also, I had a return from a prior purchase and Josh handled it in a professional manner. And guess what, I purchased more merchandise. I will return to purchase further items. Kudos to JOSH, an asset to the Company!!!! ...
