If I could give zero stars I would. I waited two weeks to get here and followed the IG account and loved the vibe of the store and the owner. I’m a major collector of vintage everything but especially designer. I went into the store with all of the hopes of finding cool new pieces to add to my collection. Maybe it was the Israel bracelet or my Star of David necklace or maybe it was just my face. Perhaps I remind the owner of someone she hates. Not sure. She couldn’t have been ruder. I’ll never go back. What a shame. Response to owner: utter lies. I never asked you to “ fetch” anything. I don’t act like that ever. I messaged and called over a week ago about a no name brand hat. You never even bothered to call me back. I have loads of no name vintage pieces. I saw on your IG post that you did have a section for larger sizes which I like- I buy larger and get pieces tailored after to fit perfectly. I asked about designer items because many vintage stores I have been to have a designer section. You all but snarled at me and couldn’t have been less welcoming. I asked if the pieces had sizing- PS European clothing is sized differently-36,38,40,42,44 etc. I didn’t want to waste your time. Clearly you wasted mine. The next time someone walks in try smiling and being more friendly. Your response was an absolute flat out lie. I followed your store for months and wanted to love it. You’re one of the nastiest people I met in...
Read moreI love this store. There isn’t much more that needs to be said than that, but since a certain reviewer felt the need to leave a 1-star review (which is, frankly, a total lie), I guess more does need to be said.
My favorite thing about this store is that it’s not just a hodge-podge antique store. It’s a totally curated collection, and an extension of Jaclyn’s amazing style. I love whenever I pull a piece I’ve found off the rack, and she’s equally excited about it as I am — and when there’s an accompanying story about how she came across it.
Someone coming here and expecting to find a trove of all designer pieces is missing the point, and certainly in the wrong part of PA. Wilkes-Barre has always been a proud, blue collar city, and the items here reflect that history and have character, rather than just an expensive name.
That said, I’ve personally come across pieces here from Dior, Allen Edmonds, and London Fog, so sounds to me like you’re just not that good at...
Read moreThe cutest, most perfectly curated vintage store ever owned by the friendliest, coolest lady who prices her pieces INSANELY reasonably. If you haven’t been, you need to check it out. Most vintage stores I walk into I know I probably cannot afford their asking prices, but I’ve walked out of Cowboys In Paris with beautiful vintage pieces that became closet staples for nearly half the price of what you’d find for it anywhere else. I’ve come to her with specific requests for outfits I’ve dreamed of and she always delivers something so perfect. Forget online resellers & do yourself a favor and stop by, because you’ll probably walk out with your new favorite outfit for the same price as what would cost brand new or less, with that lovable vintage charm & lasting quality. It’s clear this store is maintained with so much love, passion, and an extensive knowledge of vintage fashion. Truly the gem of...
