Scheduled 1st visit massage appointment time. Arrived 10 minutes early. Sign posted said there was a session presently active. Could hear conversation while I was waiting and laughing. Minimal privacy through door, while in waiting room. Tried to call as I wasn't sure if it was correct place due to session actively occurring and it was already 10 min late. Msg received could not talk and please send text. Text sent but no reply received that another 10 min passed, still no reply and I texted again. Finally after being 25 min past scheduled time, I knocked on door and therapist came out stating she was finishing but all appointments were running late since first appointment after returning from vacation. Apology received and was then given massage complimentary due to my wait time. Felt it was a bad business model having clients wait so long but would be ok with it if I was warned before hand. Therapist understood my unsettling predicament before a massage and tried to rectify it, but was already disappointment. Massage was professional but a little more forceful than I had hoped for, but thought I would wait to see next...

I tried out a new hair salon, Amrita Beauty & Wellness in Williamsburg on Wednesday. I wanted to share the incredible experience that my had:)

✨First of all they are minutes from my house- easy to get to, easy parking

✨The salon is decorated in relaxing colors, warm lights and brings nature indoors- gorgeous red maple tree in the courtyard that you can see from the sinks

✨ Comfortable chairs- omg- the chairs by the sinks where you lay back to have your hair washed- the most comfortable that I have ever been in

✨ All natural hair products

✨ Hairstylist understood my fine hair needs

✨ Hairstylist did an incredible job with my baylage and trim- yes- I am blonde again and loving it!!

This was my first time coming here after having to part ways with my girl in Alexandria, VA. So I was a little nervous, I mean it was a Brazilian, and my eyebrows! Who doesn’t want great eyebrows now days. Well from the moment I stepped in to the moment I stepped out all my anxiety went right out the window because of my aestheticians/waxing specialist Lucia.
