30 minutes before closing. I live 2 miles away. Confirmed that it was okay and they did not mind delivering. The man who took the call was SOO rude and did not care to be helpful. I could tell he was not a happy person and I went out of my way to be nice (I don't want my order messed up or spit in it... Because YES, THAT DOES STILL HAPPEN IN SOME FOOD PLACES). He had a very rude demeanor, did not care to listen to me and cut me off while speaking. He did not say thank you. Even though I SAUD THAT YOU AND APPRECIATE THEIR SERVICE He kept talking over me. He made me realize that we will never EVER order from this location again. I only went here becuase Uncle Lims is closed!! I could have decided to start using this location but what a horrible first experience! I asked if he was the owner and he said no. I asked his name and unfortunately I could not understand him... I think it started with an "A" Rude. Never again. I will order food...
Read moreThe food is alright but every time I've been there, the girl at the counter has always had an attitude regardless of what was happening. I've worked in the food industry for many years and one of the most important things is to make the customer feel happy and welcomed. Every time I've ordered from them I've felt like i need to get out of there as soon as possible because I was not wanted there. All I'm saying is if you're gonna run a restaurant, you should have people working for you who are appealing and nice to interact with, someone who makes you want to come back and eat there again. Honestly if it weren't for the fact that they are the only semi decent Chinese food place in town I wouldn't go there because of how rude the cashier girl is every time. God bless the chefs who make good food but can some one please shut this rude, loud mouthed, dirt talking...
Read moreHere's the thing, if you are expecting authentic or gourmet Chinese good you will be disappointed. This is american, strip mall, the sweet and sour sauce is hot pink chinese food, which in my opinion, is a genre all to itself.
So based on that, I think it's one of the better strip mall chinese food options in Wilmington. I like the crab rangoons and actual prefer this style to the ones they do at indochine. The egg foo young is my favorite dish on the menu. I also like the mongolian beef, but it definitely could have more meat in it, it's very heavy veg, but the flavor is good.
I do not like the fried rice. It's the yellow kind that I just don't care for, so I gave it 4 stars.
I've seen some negative reviews from other posters, but I say give it a try...
