There is a Amazing Hard Working Man by the name Angelo. The very first time that I went to this Establishment, my food wasn't so great. When I returned the second time I told him about the order. Mr. Angelo promised me that he would make my order correct himself. When I got home, the food was cooked perfectly. His service and kindness were above all the customers' expectations for Express Hibachi. I know because I asked them. I returned today, and when I arrived, he was in the back. Angelo came out to take my order. I saw this clip online where a man went behind the counter to the back of the restaurant and was yelling who cooked my food. I had to mess with him. So I asked Angelo, "Did he remember me?" He looked 😳 confused. I said, "You promised me that you would make my meal correct because my last meal was horrible so I came to give you another try, but you knew that you were going to make THE BEST MEAL I EVER EATEN! Now you got me hooked! I don't want anyone else to ever make my food again, but you! He smiled and said Thank You So Much! I was really scared that I messed up. I told him no, sweetheart, you done an amazing amazing job. Thank you for giving me your word cause that food was the best. I have been to the top Hibachi Restaurants, yet it wasn't anything like the meal you prepared for me. As I sat and waited for my food, he was taking orders and serving the food to the tables instead of calling out the numbers for the customers to come back to get their food. He went out his way, serving and helping everyone. Then he came to me and said, "Your meal will be coming out next." He went and cooked it himself. As I was leaving, I told him that he was an Amazing Gentleman that not only Loves his job but also cares about the customers. He said thank you, Mrs Mary. If you took the time to read this go Monday through Thursday, the store is open at 11 am & he gets off at 5 pm. Tell Angelo that Mrs Mary wrote a review all about him. She said give him a visit! I promise you that you will be Happy that you chose to give him & the Restaurant a try. My next step is to let Corporate headquarters, know the exceptional Hard-working, gentlemen that they have at their establishment making people day with his acts of Kindness and making sure that your meal is correct fresh and taste great!!...
Read moreI both eat and order delivery through an app from this restaurant a couple times a week. I love their sushi, so this review does not reflect the food but the service. The only reason I'm leaving 2 stars is because I love their food. My driver texts me to apologize for the long wait and told me she was still waiting to receive my food. I check my app to see how long I had been waiting. I realize while my sushi is still listed on my order, I was only charged for the side. This restaurant ALWAYS has problems consistently having a sushi chef in the restaurant, so I called to make sure my sushi was coming. I spoke to a young man who told me they were serving sushi tonight, and it would be coming with my order after I explained why I was calling. I asked my driver to check my bag to make sure the sushi was in there. After waiting 45 MINUTES (longer than the maximum time for delivery in total), my driver was handed a SIDE OF RICE. I immediately call the restaurant and speak to a manager, and I explain I just called and spoke to someone who told me the sushi would be in the order. On top of that, no one from the restaurant could even contact me to originally tell me there was no sushi chef tonight. The manager claimed she had tried to call me twice, when my phone number was correct, and I absolutely did not receive a call. Her solution to the issue was asking, after nearly an hour at this point was asking what else they could make me. HORRIBLE SERVICE! After the restaurant could not even have the courtesy of calling me when that is there responsibility, I was informed wrong when I called to follow up, and after nearly an hour wait, they finally were only going to send out a side of fried rice?! The manager absolutely did not resolve this problem in an appropriate manner after MULTIPLE mistakes by the restaurant! I will not be returning. Unfortunate, because I love the food and the convenience of coming to this restaurant. Horrible experience and...
Read moreDownright horrible. First and last visit. Let's start by saying this is NOT Japanese food, nor is 99% of places in America. American food sucks! It's the same chain food everywhere you go these days. Chains need to be closed and mom and pop restaurants need to start reopening with authentic food from different cultures.
About Japanese Bistro... we waited over 20 minutes for grilled scallops and salmon and miso soup. People who ordered after us were served first and left before us. Miso came from a package with is poured into boiling water stirred in under 30 seconds. Scallops and salmon take 10 minutes and it's dry and un-recognizable. There was a sloppy mess of what they called Zuccinni, onion, and broccoli in teriyaki sauce. That was probably the best part of this American-Chinese food. (Note they had a Chinese Cat on the counter of a supposedly Japanese restaurant.) I've been to Japan and have eaten true Japanese cuisine. This is an absolute outrage and insult to the Japapese culture. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't attack America over this.
4 and 5 stars?!?!?! Are you aware of what a restaurant needs to achieve and produce to be worthy of those ratings? There are no standards here anymore. What is wrong with fat and stupid Americans? Oh that's just it, they eat ANYTHING and everything and don't stop. They care about quantity and not quality. For $25 I could of had a 3-4 course meal plus a drink in Japan. I'm so over being American. This country is going down hill to fast. Edit: It is already at the bottom and digging deeper. For the sake of anything you care about, don't eat here or any other food chain and start demanding quality food. Or you deserve praying to the...
