The steak was FREAKING DELICIOUS! The BEST STEAK I'VE EVER TASTED in my life, by far, hands down!!!! It was THE MOST tender steak I've ever had! I don't know kind of HEAVENLY flavor made it taste like this, but I did the "delicious dance". You know, when u take a bite of food so good it makes u dance!?! I cook steak all the time, but I can't replicate this flavor!! It's indescribable, the flavor and the delicious juices, WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE THIS FLAVOR, ya'll, I'm not exaggerating!! It was also cooked to perfection, medium-rare (they must check the temp constantly to guarantee it's perfect, bc all 3 were perfectly cooked). My daughter had her's cooked 'medium', and my husband's was medium-rare. All 3 were cooked PERFECTLY. Talk about TENDER, OMG!! My husband's came w/ a parmesan cheese crust on top, it was OUTSTANDING!! I just can't even believe how DANG GOOD this steak was. There are no words! The texture, this magical flavor (you'll never be able to replicate it at home, idc what u say, u can't). It was JUICY, nice and big and plump and unbelievably tender!! When I touched the top of my steak, i knew it's about to blow your mind, and it did!! We had lobster tails added on. The lobster tail wasn't super big but wasnt small either. They serve it atop the shell, it was HOT and JUICY, which i was so glad bc I've ordered lobster tail w/ steak in OTHER restaurants and it was dry and cool. I loved being welcomed w/ the delicious warm fresh baked loaf of BREAD AND BUTTER brought to the table right when we sat down! We were all hungry, so that made us so happy!!The yams were delicious, they came w/ a big heaping of cinnamon and sugar, w/ butter. I had the rice/risotto side (it was ok), the mashed potatoes were delicious, and the asparagus was also delicious. My daughter ordered french onion soup; it came w/ the melted cheese on top, cooked onions inside, and that piece of bread that comes in french onion soup,it was good. THE STEAK KNIVES WERE SO IMPRESSIVE! They were these brand new, heavy duty steak knives, perfectly balanced, specialty made, Long Horn branded steak knives (I wish they were for sale đ) and sliced thru that tender meat like butter! The service was excellent, too! (I love it when the food and service are BOTH excellent!!). We were seated right away, our cups stayed full. My daughter had their handcrafted strawberry lemonade, made w/ a little fresh crushed strawberry, and there's other flavors of the "handcrafted lemonades" as well (I had to taste it and it was as good as it looked). Refills were free. So, we were a party of 3, we all ordered a ribeye w/ upgraded sides, 1 lemonade, 2 waters, soups, salads, and our bill was around $100. It would have been a little less, but we ordered Lobster tails with 2 of the entrees and extra side dishes. I think adding the lobster tail was around $12 per plate. There's also Steak & Lobster combo entrĂ©es, u have several options. Our waitor was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. Anything we asked for was there in seconds. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the inside is needs a makeover- but that really didn't matter bc everything else was THE BEST!! Oh yeah, i ordered a Bloody Mary, and it was SO DELICIOUS!! I could have drank 3 more bc it was so good!! Can't wait to go back!! I almost forgot- we got the stuffed mushroom appetizer, it came out on this long slender dish, there were about 10 ct., and OMGGG THEY WERE SOOOOO...
Read moreAte dinner tonight at 4:00 with my Husband for his birthday. Our server, Allyson was less than friendly when she came to our table to take our drink order of water and sweet tea. Our drinks were brought in a timely manner, however taking our order was another story. A 10 top was assigned yo her just next to us and that consumed her time. Finally after they had received their drinks and bread she came for our order. I ordered Prime Rib and Hubby ordered the Outlaw Rib Eye. She returned to tell me they were out of Prime Rib; I ordered the Prime Rib. Still no bread for us! Our salads were brought in a timely manner but still no bread. Our meals were brought out by another server who basically just set them down and started to walk off. I asked for bread but was abruptly told they were out and more was baking. We started to eat to realize there were no condiments on the table and still no bread. After about 5 mins Allyson finally reappeared at our table and I asked for bread. She went to get it but at no time did she ask if we needed anything else or if we needed more drinks. We got our bread finally and we were never checked on again eventhough our drink glasses were empty. It wasnt just us experiencing the slow and poor service. A couple behind us asked to be moved when she never came to take their drink order. Another party, maybe not hers akso asked to be moved due to slow service. It took probably 10 minutes after ee moved our empty plates to the edge of the table before she showed up again. No inquiry as to how food was, no inquiry if we wanted dessert or anything else. Just said do you want your bill. She was quick to bring the bill and take and return our debit card. Needless to say I left a tip that reflected the service. The food was fair but nothing to rave about. No seasoning on our steaks. Overall not a good meal or experience. We had an excellent experience at the Hilton Head restaurant last summer so were really looking forward to this and now we our just disappointed and won't...
Read moreFirst and foremost I want to start out saying that our server was phenomenal, she was amazing, literally none of this review is about to be negative about her in anyway.
Me and my boyfriend went to Longhorn a couple weeks ago, the first issue we had was that the hostesses were super snarky, I understand that it was a Saturday night I am also very ok with the fact we had to wait, what was not ok with me was when the hostess rolled her eyes when my boyfriend (after about 30 minutes of waiting) asked about an updated time frame for a table. When we did get sat, again our server was great, she was sweet and upbeat and just all around pleasant.
We got fried pickles as an appetizer, due to it being fried pickles and not seafood we did not mention my boyfriends shellfish allergy (not epi-pen extreme but it induces an asthma attack), we got our fried pickles and there were about half a dozen fried shrimp in the order, which we discovered after my boyfriend ate one. Now again his allergy isn't as extreme as some, but this is a pretty awful food safety issue. We notified the manager about the issue, again not life threatening for my boyfriend but something that needs to be brought to the kitchens attention.
So we will not be returning, and food safety protocol at this location may need to be re-visited. Just as a heads up for any allergy sufferers, make it blatantly clear, regardless of what you order, that you are allergic to something from their menu immediately, maybe you will have better...
