Clean Juice Healthy Body & Strong Spirit I love it however I will say that for a lot of 5/5s There are still improvements that could be done. The store I visited wasn't poor in staff or service. That's where my 3 stars are credited staff was great, made recommendations and answered questions well for choices to order food or drinks. Place looked well kept and cleaned. As most places should be.
The two stars not given is because the juice and price for what people get. I didn't have a bowl, smoothie or bread but tried 2 cold-pressed bottles (Black and Sweet Green) and 2 cold-pressed shots (Athlete and Matcha Exress). Clean Juice so the juice has to be good, not the best thing ever but at least good. It lacks flavor and taste, healthy and organic yes. The blends could be better while maintaining those healthy benefits from foods even when organic. Some foods overpower and is the only thing you taste and nothing else. I feel that the blends are soulfully based off on the benefits they give than taste. That could use some help. Then the set price wouldn't bug me. I'd pay the amount but it should want me to enjoy it and not need a strong spirit to down an earthy, gritty and bitter drink.
The other thing was the limitation? which that I didn't understand. (maybe for this store nowhere else?) Wanted to try the orange and immune booster but wasn't available. Then asked could they make one and said they didn't do that or where out of the ingredients, okay. Even with ordering ahead you can have the same issues. It is winter season but wouldn't you keep a better stock on your better selling items? come on for the price stock shouldn't be a problem for customers who love it.
3/5 I'd give it another try and see if the next experience is a better one but for now it's a so-so and not having me hype like the rest. I too love healthy foods but some places do...
Read moreI first attempted to order from Clean Juice a few days ago off of doordash. After about 10 minutes my order was cancelled for an unspecified reason. BUT, I am a pretty health conscious person and really wanted to try this place so I attempted again today. My order was placed successfully this time, but part of me wishes it had failed again. I purchased the cali wrap, the berry acai bowl for my wife, and the chocolate protein smoothie. I've eaten at places with similar offerings (tropical smoothie, smoothie king, playa bowls, etc...) and I have to say, especially for the cost, the food was just not as good. The wrap was very small, panini pressed, heavy on the cheese and not so much on the healthier ingredients. I will say it tasted fresh, but the trade off for size was not worth it. My wife was not elated by her bowl, although she said it wasnt all that bad even though the texture gave the impression that it was made with frozen fruit. Finally, my chocolate smoothie. I have had many smoothies in my day, including ones that I make myself about 4 times a week at home. This was my least favorite. It was mildly flavorful except the overwhelming taste of maple syrup. I admit, I was skeptical of the use of maple syrup in the first place, but I am open to new experiences and trusted that perhaps the combination of ingredients would produce a satisfying flavor. I was very wrong. The consistency of the smoothie was light and somewhat watery (although not as watery as some I've had at tropical smoothie). I went into the store about 5 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and was informed very coldly that “the order just came through” , no apology or anything. I stated “that’s weird” and no one said anything. I don’t think the order “just came through” when everything on the app on my end looked fine. When I entered the store the employees were just standing around talking to each other and the store had no customers. I’m not sure how it works but either they didn’t hear the notification that an order was placed or they didn’t look for it. Things happen but at least say I’m sorry. I’m the customer. I had to wait extra time for my order to be made. Then I was told “here’s that double one for you” as the employee placed the drink on the counter. Again no apology for the wait, or anything.
