I had a wonderful experience with Rayanna at Restoring Natural Beauty! I have been struggling with split ends for a couple of months, and I wanted professional advice on the best way to care for my hair type, with a focus on length retention because I wanted my hair to grow longer. I was visiting Wilmington for a short time so I wasn’t sure if she was able to take me since her availability on the website was a couple days out, so I called the number listed on her google page and Rayanna was kind enough to work out a next day consultation with a wash/deep condition/trim haircare lux package.

The consultation itself was very very informative, I came with a lot of questions and she was able to answer just about every single one of them! I felt very taken care of and that I could trust Rayanna’s professional expertise. She sat with me as I read about the different levels of hair porosity, and what products work with each type. I filled out a questionnaire and it was really nice that we both had a copy of the questions that she wanted to asked me, it made the experience personal and you can tell she genuinely cares and wants to help with your natural needs.

The actual wash, deep condition, and trim process was so soothing, and I was really happy that she answered any questions I had and let me know what she was doing, and she didn’t cut off more than I would be uncomfortable with! This was a huge thing for me because she acknowledged my goal was length retention and we didn’t want to cut off 2 inches all at once. I requested that my hair be twisted up, since it was getting late and I was able to add that to the service for $20! I left the salon with her helpful tips and recommendations, I felt empowered, reassured, and genuinely excited about my hair journey! I can’t wait to work with her in the future, I definitely found friendship in Rayanna from client to hairstylist, this was definitively an awesome first-time...

If you’re considering it just book it! Let’s start off with the consultation. There is a consultation before the service is provided. This might have been my favorite part of my appointment. I learned so much about my hair in a single day with Rayana/ RNB as she asked me very specific questions about my hair and the journey ahead. She took her time with every single thing that was done in my hair. In fact, her services were gentle, informative, and overall positive. My hair came out looking exponentially great and I’m super excited to continue my natural hair journey with her. She also offers her own products that she makes herself ranging from oil drops to even lash drops! It’s truly inspiring seeing someone so passionate about my hair and love what they do. So much so that I can safely say I’ve never experienced a salon that offers what is offered here. I can’t wait to see the growth in this business and over all recommended!

Firstly, I’d like to acknowledge how the reviews of this establishment was the reason I booked. I typically do my own hair, but was looking for a natural hair stylist that could help me manage my hairs health. Upon booking, I reached out to the stylist to ensure that I booked correctly. She responded very quickly and I was excited to receive a service from her. However, I showed up promptly at my appointment time to which she was not there. I texted and called, with no response. I also spoke to a merchant nearby to verify that I was in the right place once I realized there was no entrances for the address.
