Me and my friend decided to stop by the chancery market to get sea moss gel from a vendor. We decided to stay and eat because the ambiance and atmosphere were amazing!!! So much indoor and outdoor seating with different vibes, from leather sofas to bar tops, lawn chairs, and just more. Food: I ate at Agave Mexican grill and got loaded Nachos. I hate to say that they were the worst loaded Nachos I've ever had. The chicken was dried and shredded. Everything tasted old and not fresh. If I had a dog, I would not have even given it to him. I also paid extra for guac on the side and I got a little plastic container, like one you would get for ketchup dipping, full of brown liquid, it was barely green. I was so disappointed and disgusted. I threw the whole meal away after trying it and discovering it taste like what it looked like, trash. I would not recommend!!
My friend ate at chick n salad. Nd got chicken and fries. The women who worked there had great customer service. The chicken was a little salty and mushy. She was very sweet and cooked it longer and added more sauce on the side incase it dried out. The fries were good. Overall, it was okay.
Cleanliness: It's so clean inside and outside. I just had to wipe an outdoor table off from a little dust/dirt from it sitting outside, but otherwise, it was clean.
Overall experience:they had a DJ with music which was nice, it was clean, the ambiance was beautiful, the food was disappointing. I am willing to come back and try the...

Pizza is pretty good from the pizza place but their pasta I got once and the entire meatball was frozen so that was not pleasant.
Crépes are ok, not the best but not the worst
My biggest gripe is the poke it up
Every time I go my rice isn’t fully cooked and it’s not so under cooked where you know instantly it’s the type where you take a bite and think “oh it’s just the crunchy part of my topping” and then you get to just the rice and it becomes obvious that it wasn’t the topping but the rice that had that weird texture of not being fully cooked.
And I stoped going a year ago and I went back after a friend told me that they never had that problem and it was the same problem
Fish is ok, if you like raw fish it’s average
Edamame some of it was over cooked, some under, so it made a really weird mix of texture of overly mushy beans and beans that are sort of crunchy.
1.99 for half a avocado is just wow, I saw someone order it, it’s not even a full avocado you get half a avocado for that much.
Biggest gripe is that they didn’t bother to tell me that their receipt machine wasn’t working until after I paid, which is annoying because physical receipts help me get reimbursed for lunches.
If I would just go review the poke place I would, it’s just...
Read moreWhile this place is convenient for a drink or bite to eat, I cannot recommend hosting an event here. We hosted a party here and had issues the entire day of the event. The planner we were working with (Yvette) told us that as long as we purchased food there, we could bring anything not available on the menu. We bought trays of burgers, sandwiches, and fries from Chancery and brought chick fil a nuggets and bday cake. Yvette was not there the day of and instead we had to work with three people we hadn’t met before. A man in glasses runs out as we’re setting up and rudely asserts that no outside food is allowed. We show the email and he rolls his eyes and says “he’ll allow it”. Then when we go to get the wristbands for PREPAID drinks, they don’t have the correct amount and let us know they only had one bartender for the entire restaurant- DESPITE telling us while booking there would be adequate staff. This led to guest not even getting the drinks they paid for and an (understandably) frustrated bartender. I spent the entire night rallying the staff and trying to correct their issues. No compensation, no apology. We’ve been asked multiple times if the people should host events there and each time we’ve said no. Many other options around Wilmington and Newark like Wilma’s,...
