I walked in, and calmly said “I’m just looking around.” The store owner, (tall older man with little to no hair) is talking with a man all too casually to which I can only assume the man works there….he then glances up at me with a distasteful look in his eyes & snarls “okay, I’m currently busy with another customer”. Now both of these men are glaring at me, as if I should just get out entirely. Mind you…Race does matter. I myself am a minority, and these were two white men to put things in to perspective. I came in with a fat wad of cash in my pocket, but only was wearing athletic attire. I walked out feeling isolated, and disrespected. Retail is a customer service job entirely, and I believe there’s a way you can talk to people who are looking to spend their own hard earned money on your service….because I can get a suit anywhere. It’s the service I’m walking in to pay for. The hospitality. The respect. 10 out of 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. If I could leave 0...
Read moreI’ve been struggling to find clothing off the rack that works for me for my entire life as I am not of average height. I finally decided to try Wright and Simon to see if I could finally own a suit that is both comfortable and designed to fit. I came in on a Saturday morning for a fitting appointment and Leonard had preselected a suit he thought would be right for me based on our phone conversation earlier in the week. I also settled on trousers and a sports coat as a separate purchase and Leonard has another suit in my size on order for a future visit. I can’t have been more satisfied with the service, the delivery of the clothing and the quality of the products. It’s worth the small premium you’ll pay for this level of care and service. I will be returning to continue to build out...

After waiting 45 minutes for him to finish with the customer, someone else came in and the salesman (Leonard Simon) told me that I had to wait because the person who came in was a “paying customer” and I wasn’t. Very rude and disrespectful. Never coming in this...
