Bealls Florida — Local services in Winter Garden

sigh * It has been awhile since I was at this location. Before the remodel, this store has a nice warm Florida feel to it. Today I went to both the Burlington coat factory two stores away and to this Bealls. I stepped into this remodeled Bealls, and honestly felt like I was at any other Burlington coat factory or Ross store. Nothing against those stores but the remodel looked like they tried to copy the look. Interior wise it feels, well, sterile and bland. No Florida. Feeling at all now. Did I find some stuff there? Yes. However will I take my Mom there in the near future to a first time shopping experience at Bealls before a cruise? No, I see no reason to do so. Both of the new stores look great and I really liked how organized they looked. BUT the store manager working on the morning of Saturday December 23 at the Beals Home Centric store in Winter Garden was plain awful. She was extremely rude, sarcastic and degrading. She had no class nor manners. I was amazed when I saw her title saying store manager. Someone so unprofessional who is not fit to be working in customer service. She even treated the other customer next to me rather rudely at self checkout. I have been a regular customer at Beals department store for years way before the remodeling but I decided to try the home centric store, and was rather turned off by her arrogant personality when I needed assistance . This is the most ridiculous thing... no body at the counter to check out I had to wait until finally someone showed up. The store sells these memory foam sandals for $4.99, my nana has been buying them for 15years...Online the sandals are 4.99 and I had picked them up at the store before suddenly now they are $20 at the story and same $4.99 online. What a most ridiculous thing! My grandmother is going back home and we cannot do online shopping I called the store and they were no help. I'm am so sad and disappointed at these...
