I really loved their items and loved the fact that they had so many local items. My concern was the way some of the staff handled themselves in prevention. When you enter you see that people have stolen from them in the past which is very upsetting and sad to hear . It was just very weird and awkward to have someone come up to me quickly and ask where am I from. I was a bit uncomfortable with why I was asked that especially since they didn’t ask other families or the POC families caught on and left. My partner was very angry and felt like we were being followed through the sticker aisle especially since they did that in front of a child who was with us. I’m not mad about prevention but it did feel like there was a racial bias behind the line of questioning. There was other store across the street and we weren’t followed despite it being more expensive and had a genuine conversation with them. Would I go back , yes I would because again some staff didn’t present that same behavior and I don’t feel like one person’s behavior can represent the whole store.
