Lies, and more lies. Walk in the room and see plants in the sink. Says it's from the window. Found bugs in the sheets and she says that people lay on the sheets. Asked her why she would say that if she changes them. She just keeps on lieing about cleaning the room before. As if I'm blind, and left my brain at home. I ask her if she has any other bed sheets so i can go grab it for her and change them. She won't shut up about it being clean and that she cleans it. while I'm still in the room with a plant in the sink. I wouldn't be as mad if she didn't move us to another room. Where she wanted to charge us nearly 200$ more. Then says oh I'll give you 10$ off. So basically we get a dirty room and she wants us too pay double -10$ and when we rejected that absurd offer she asks for 10$ because we checked the sheets after finding plants in the sink. Ridiculous. The motel across the street (Gables motel) is better and more respectful. They HAVE people...
Read moreWe have traveled to The Dells many many times with our family. This was our first trip without our now adult children. We decided we did not need a place with a pool. ( There is a city pool a few blocks away though). The Finch was one block off of the downtown. We could walk so many places. There is a shuttle from there to the Ducks Dock and Lower Dells Boat Dock. Once we parked( for free at the Finch), we hardly drove anywhere the entire stay. Our room was Very Clean. The owners and their staff were ALL very friendly and welcoming!! The cost was very reasonable for being that close to the downtown! My favorite shop, the Hand blown glass store, was a block away. I always stop in and enjoy ordering personalized hand blown glass gifts from there. Our trip was wonderful and was what we refer to as a "Real" Wisconsin Dells Experience. Thank you to the owners of the Finch for helping make our stay comfortable...
Read moreI stayed one night with my daughter as we planned to enjoy dinner at MACS and go on the Ghost Tour, both of which are walking distance. The Finch is one block off of the main street in downtown Dells, exactly what we needed for a short trip so that we weren't driving around & having to find parking. The room was very simple and the decor dated but everything was clean and there was a small refrigerator and television. We received a voucher for 25% off the Ducks tour which was the only place we had to drive. The staff was friendly and even called us back within an hour after we left to let us know my daughter forgot her Nintendo DS in the bed sheets, I returned later that day and they had it at the front desk which was very...
