The Bra Shop — Local services in Worcester

I found this shop on a whim after searching “bra fitting near me” and was pleasantly surprised!! This little shop is situated in a quaint neighborhood in an old house. The decor is immaculate and only rivaled by their size range which I believe goes up to a K (European Size). I was able to book a fitting online and when I arrived Katie was ready and willing to help me. She was very sweet and helped narrow down my size. About 20 minutes into our fitting Stephanie (the owner) popped in to take over for Katie and she was just as amazing! Stephanie really knew her stuff and after asking permission (which I gave) even helped me learn how to adjust myself properly into the bras. She asked questions to help steer me towards the right bras and I never felt judged or uncomfortable! I planned on only buying 1 bra, but instead walked out with 4 and a detergent for washing! I will never be buying bras anywhere else and cannot recommend this place enough. Please please please take some time to go to The O Shop you will not be disappointed!

Ps. If you are nervous about the “enjoyment” side I can assure you the items are tactfully placed and not really even on the “bra” side.

I was so happy to discover this gem of a shop right here in Worcester: not only is it lovely inside, but the service, products, and atmosphere are top notch. The owner, Stephanie, was incredibly knowledgable and professional, while also making me feel completely comfortable during my fitting. I was wearing the way wrong bra size, like many of us--but I could never have guessed how off mine was, or how much of a difference the right band and cup size make. Stephanie and Tam were tireless in bringing me bra after bra, each one prettier than the next, till we found three that I loved. I was showered with attention and it was actually a lot of fun. Over a week later, having given all three of my new bras tests drives, I can say all are home runs - comfortable, elegant, and, best of all, functional - bliss! I learned so much about a proper fit for my body and encountered brands I'd not heard of that worked so much better for me than what I had been wearing. This is an excellent shop, and Lisa is FABULOUS! I've had several fittings at other lingerie stores in the past (some more helpful than others) but this was by far the most fruitful and enjoyable, and also the most informative. Lisa was engaging, intuitive, patient and happy to explain why she was selecting the bras she chose for me from the store's diverse stock. I learned so much! Plus, she didn't try to convince me that any particular bra was a great fit even though it wasn't — a frequent experience at other shops.

I left with three bras I love, a better understanding of why I don’t like the department store bras that I’m now ready to burn, and plans to make another pilgrimage (90 minutes each way) in the spring.

P.S. It's awesome that they offer scheduled fittings. There might be some distractions from walk-ins or phone calls while you're there, because pretty much only one person at a time is running the shop. So if possible, schedule in advance and also leave extra time. But Lisa seemed to simultaneously make all of us feel like her priority. Truly impressive — and...
