My wife and I have been here twice now and we loved it both times. It's a family owned business and this is their first foray into a full size restaurant like this. We had Natalie as our bartender the first time and she was one of the 3 bartenders that waited on us the second time. She's a real gem and makes delicious espresso martinis! Ambiance: I love the decor here and the family did a lot of the work and design themselves. They even made light fixtures that are super cute. The bar is large and they have live music, I believe only on the weekends but I'm not certain on that. There are also a couple of good spots for selfies. Staff: The staff has been great from what we've seen and as I mentioned, Natalie is a stand out. Food: This place makes pretty much everything from scratch! From the blue cheese dressing (so chunky ) to the Carolina Gold sauce we had on our wings both times. I had the Shrimp Risotto the first time which was super flavorful. This last time I had the Chicken Stroganoff which was a little different but delicious and the chicken was juicy and tender. My wife had the Creamy Mushroom Steak Tips. They were cooked to her liking and she loved the dish. Drinks: We've only had espresso martinis here so far because they were so good. We've had them many, many places and they were spot on. Value: I think the food here is really reasonably priced. My chicken stroganoff was $20 and it was a large portion with rice and a side of fries! The drink prices are also very fair .

Our bartender/server with the scorpion tattoo, is clearly inexperienced, our appetizer came out at the same time as our meals, my husband got a RAW hunk of ground steak (TWICE) and the bathrooms didn't have soap or paper towels since opening, the trash cans were full of non sanitary products, like cardboard, so they hadn't been changed since open at noon, we visited at 4:30pm. This tells me a couple things; You need a thermometer, right off the rip. Food runners so the bartender knows that his app is up instead of dumping five plates on a table of 4 with a cold app. (Again, thermometer) And a hostess so that the bathroom doesn't go without soap and paper towels. PLEASE tell me that they have their own employee bathroom, cause if not, they're NOT washing their hands. This is absolutely insane, as a former food service professional, you need to have serious conversations with staff. Also, how does a manager NOT table touch after food was served RAW TWICE?? unreal Upon leaving over one hour later, there is still no soap and paper towels in the men's room.

Tonight was our first time visiting 158 Garage Sports Bar & Grill, we started with a Mango Caiparinha and some light and crispy calamari. For the entree, we had the meat lovers kebab, which included pork sausage, sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken, farofa, vinegarette, yuca fries, and grilled cheese. I loved the presentation and was so much food. Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Natalie, our waitress was super helpful in helping us make descions on what to eat, the chef executed all dishes! Never being in this space before, it's a large open concept, with cute decor and very clean. We were completely stuffed but decided to take the pavlova dessert to go. Can't wait to return!

Imagine walking into a restaurant with two people sitting at the bar and the rest of the place is practically empty and getting horrible food AND service that leaves you literally shaking your head! That’s this place - don’t bother stopping here….my nephew and I ordered an appetizer and five minutes later we ordered our main meal. About 20 minutes later our food arrives but NO appetizer. The description of the chicken stroganoff was that it was served over rice. Ours wasn’t. When I ask what happened to our calamari, (I’ve never ever had a server say this.) “oh, I thought because you had ordered the meal you no longer wanted the appetizer”!) I call BS - she forgot to place the order or the kitchen forgot to make it. The chicken stroganoff was absolutely disgusting. I think I took about three bites and I had to stop. I couldn’t eat it. The broccoli was cold. But even crazier was that once I said it was horrible food, she never cleared the table! It’s a horrible place to go don’t ever stop...
