On 1st day they gave us 1 family room at 7th floor black door. And 1 double bed room.
When we enter the room the room was extremely hot, air-conditioning was not working, every few minutes the air-conditioning was turn off and we need to on back.
The bathroom drainage was blocked. Since we only staying for 1 night and check out at 7am because we have booked tour. So we just adjust that. We thought to complaint this to receptionist.
But b4 even we complaint, the receptionist told brother their cleaner complaint that it's hard to clean our bathroom and was smelly. And they warn that will band us from staying there if smoke inside room, because cleaner saw cigarettes packets in rubbish basket.
My father is 60 years old, he is smoker. When he clean his beg, he throw all rubbish, empty cigarettes packets.
And ARE YOU EXPECTING YOUR CUSTOMERS TO CLEAN YOUR BATHROOM DRAINAGE. it's your responsibility.
After we came back from tour we have no choice because all other hotel was fully booked, so we went back to this hotel.
He asked us if wanna stay at same room. We asked ro change the room because air-conditioning was not working in this room. He said we need to pay extra 2Million dong to change room.
But we told them we can't pay extra, and it's your responsibility to fix it. Why do I have to pay extra.
And he gave us 6th floor family. The room was extremely dusty and got bed bugs.
Seriously my worst experience staying here. Management is worse.

Read moreStayed at Mai Charming for a holiday in Hanoi. Strongly recommend and would stay again.
The location of this hotel was awesome with loads of things to see and do nearby. Some of the best Bun Cha is just around the corner!
For the price the rooms are simple and comfortable. We stayed as a couple, first had a double room but then moves to a room with two doubles placed together which was more than enough room for a great night's sleep. Both rooms had rain shower/shower gun configurations and water guns for the toilet, with the shower sufficient for a proper wash!
Most of our interactions were with night-staff Bao - They provided incredible service and really know their way around all of Hanoi, setting us up for an awesome holiday. Thank you Bao the...
Read moreDoing a lot of travelling at the moment and staying in many hotels. Some more luxurious, some more expensive but Mai charming had the very best service. Advice, local information, even snippets of history. We had many conversations with many different staff of the hotel and ALL of them were polite, happy, and courteous. Definitely the friendliest hotel staff I've come across. I believe they are under new ownership and currently upgrading and renovating, so it's a hotel on the up, but you can't upgrade the staff, they're honestly the best. A special shout to Dulcie and Prime (?), who we chatted with in length most days and before we left. Best of luck to you both and we hope to...
