Amazing gem in the city.

The staff were really friendly, sweet and patient. I don’t speak any Albanian so it was very helpful that I have several of the staff spoke English. This is my first solo trip to a foreign country so it was really nice that the staff were so welcoming.I was worried that I would struggle to find vegan food. The staff helped me with the menu to show which options I could choose from. The decor is absolutely stunning and there’s a very calm atmosphere. I got the spaghetti with vegetables, grilled vegetables, and green salad. The spaghetti was really delicious. I’m usually a picky eater and struggle to taste food without adding chilli, but the flavour of the spaghetti was absolutely perfect. I didn’t need to add anything to improve the flavour. The grilled vegetables had an amazing umami flavour and were perfectly cooked. The salad was fresh and nicely seasoned. The portion sizes were very generous. The drinks were also affordable. Simple homely local food, prepared fresh by lovely staff. FOOD: A few vegetarian dishes (grilled vegetables, rice, pasta, cheeses etc) and various meat (chicken, beef, lamb) dishes. They have a wide variety of flavoured alcoholic raki. I'm coeliac and had no reaction from eating grilled foods here, I also have a very (oh-so-typical Western stomach) sensitive gut and was not at all ill after eating and ate a variety of shared plates here. They have a lot of seating out back and appear to be very popular with the locals so have a high food turnover which likely contributed to the freshness too. STAFF: Efficient and helpful. My sister, mom, older brother and me had the most delicious meal we’ve ate after a long day. The young lady named ERISA was super sweet and nice she served us. So after she brought the food we asked her for bread but she said that they dont have bread anymore. After like 2 minutes we saw her going out of the restaurant then coming back to us with very delicious bread it was so so sweet of her we are very thankful to her. Service is tip top. I would definitely come back next year because I just come with vocations.
