This is one of the rare places in Tirana where we found the authentic taste of Turkish tea. The restaurant is located right inside Toptani, which is already a central spot that everyone visiting the city should see. It has a perfect location for a restaurant. The interior is stylish with a lovely ambiance, and the staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was more than enough for two people and tasted great. If you’re looking for flavors closest to Turkish cuisine in Tirana, this is the place to go for breakfast. We paid 2100 Leke for two people, including extra tea and bread, which we found very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting Tirana and craving a proper Turkish breakfast.
Since we were so satisfied with the breakfast, we came back in the evening for dinner. We missed the taste of home, so we ordered lahmacun—which turned out to be perfectly portioned, with one piece enough for one person—and it was delicious. For dessert, we had trileçe and baklava filled with cream, accompanied by traditional Turkish tea. We genuinely enjoyed both desserts. And once again, the staff were extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made the whole experience...
Read moreUnfortunately, my experience at the restaurant “Lezet” left much to be desired. While the ambiance was pleasant, the quality of the food and service did not justify the high prices at all. I ordered a portion of suxhuk, which turned out to be just “3” thin slices of salami (1-2 mm) on a cabbage leaf, for which I paid 430 ALL – a price that didn’t match either the quantity or the quality. The Çilbir eggs were cold(580all) (,with hardened yolks, and served with yogurt that I couldn’t eat immediately because there was no spoon. Moreover, the bread arrived near the end of the breakfast, when it was no longer useful. Basic table items like napkins (serviettes) were missing, and the waitstaff appeared disinterested and unwelcoming. The atmosphere felt cold, and smiles were entirely absent. Perhaps smiles were part of the menu, but I must have missed reading it, as I would have ordered one immediately. Considering the restaurant was half-empty, I couldn’t understand why the service was so poor. In summary, “Lezet” failed to meet my expectations, and the experience was disappointing in every aspect – food, service, and value for money. I wouldn’t recommend it and certainly...
Read moreLezet has quickly become one of our go-to spots for dining in the Toptani Castle area. The restaurant offers a wonderful blend of Turkish and traditional Albanian cuisine, making it a great choice for anyone looking for variety. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty Turkish breakfast or a classic Albanian lunch, this place has you covered.
My wife, who is a big fan of Turkish food, loves it here, while I, not as much of a fan, still find plenty of options I enjoy. Our kids especially loved the pida (a Turkish-style pizza), which was a big win, especially since one of them is a very picky eater!
The patio area is a highlight, with plenty of heaters to keep you warm during chilly weather, making it a cozy spot to dine. The restaurant is situated in a charming area for dining and shopping, adding to the overall experience.
A word of advice: it can get busy, so plan your visit carefully or be prepared for a short wait. But once you’re seated, the excellent food and atmosphere make it well worth it. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone looking for a mix of Turkish and...
