I had heard good things about Crepas, so I was looking forward to visiting. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. It seems the staff is practicing a unique service style one where you’re made to feel completely invisible. Despite sitting patiently and watching other tables being served promptly, we were somehow overlooked for what felt like an eternity.
Perhaps this is their way of encouraging mindfulness and patience in their guests? If so, mission accomplished! We had plenty of time to reflect on our life choices while wondering if our order had been lost in another dimension.
When the food finally arrived after questioning where it was, it sadly didn’t redeem the experience. The crepes were cold, so thin they were practically see through, and had an underwhelming amount of filling barely enough to justify calling them “filled” at all. It’s a shame because with a little more effort, this place could live up to its potential.
