This bar left a lot to be desired. The system of ordering at one spot, receiving a ticket, and then collecting your drink at the bar felt unnecessarily cumbersome—though this might just be a cultural difference. What stood out most, however, was the exorbitant pricing. Two mojitos cost me $30 USD, which is outrageous, especially considering I was staying at a hotel nearby for $90 a night. Paying 30% of my hotel cost for just two drinks felt absurd.
Whether it was a “gringo tax” or not, this was by far the most expensive bar I visited during three weeks in Latin America. The atmosphere was fine, with an okay crowd that skewed older, but the experience was not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this bar to anyone and will definitely...
Nice music, excellent location, great atmosphere. Drinks are ok, they're kinda pricy for the quality you're getting. It's a great place to go out for a dance and have fun. Every weekend night has different music making it a very versatile place. Fridays you get pop, Saturdays an amazing dj with a set that includes electronic music/80s pop hits. And Sundays you have lip sync battles and...
Read moreIt’s a very VERY small venue. Like the size of someone’s living room. There are 4 screens and a lot of dollar store decor - everything pink. There are a lot of staff, I counted 4 bartenders working behind the small bar so you got your drinks fast which is always a good thing in my books. Their system is you pay then get a ticket. they use the ticket to make your drinks - also very efficient. I had the Smirnoff tamarind special it was like 95% sugar - I do not recommend this drink to anyone. Went on a Wednesday night at midnight - it was kinda boring but they were playing some...
