Extremely happy with Don Benito, Had bife de chorizo rucula salad with parmesano delicious, Jugoso perfecto! Mi compañera had a bife de chorizo de 4 quesos with fresh cut fries. The cazuela 🥘 de hongos was amazing! Antonella’s service was very attentive. hahahahah we went back for round two the next night! we started with the chorizo parrillero and morrones al la parilla i had the ojo de bife al malbec and it was mind blowing mi compañera ordered entraña that came out a little overcooked for jugoso but was still delicious. We both had the rucula salad with parmesano but added cherry tomatoes. dont sleep on the house made FLan for desert with ducle de leche! Gaston was our waiter and was very friendly and joined right in with our humor. On our way out, our second night in a row as the last ones in the restaurant they casually said see you tomorrow night. I think I know where we are eating 😂😂😂😂

Our waiter, Alex, was very kind and attentive with us, which was a really nice difference from service we’ve recently received at other places. We shared the Ribeye (400g) medium rare, Benito salad, roasted tomatoes, and gnocchi with tomato sauce. Very satisfying meal. Gnocchi was cooked perfectly and balanced with the sauce, salad was good portions of each ingredient, and the steak was excellent. We were even given complementary after-dinner wine. We felt treated well! What I didn’t expect or appreciate was some of the other staff staring at us and clearly making comments to each other (we have been told repeatedly that we are clearly not from here) but it was easy enough to ignore. We would have also appreciated Argentinian music and not American music from the 90s and early 2000s. The food was good though! Overall a 4.5 but I rounded up.

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. We are a group of 5. Got seated outside and the service was terrible. Not sure if it was because we were outside or what, but our waiter was extremely slow. All 5 of us ordered steaks. We were a little concerned when we all ordered and the waiter didn’t bother writing anything down or even ask how we want our steaks cooked. He came back around 15 mins later to ask what our order was again…… Anyways, we received our steaks and they were all awful. Grey, tuff, flavorless, etc. we all got the “expensive” steaks. I got the supposedly 45 day dry aged steak. It was completely flavorless and hard to eat. I took 3-4 bites and gave up. Will not be returning and others should go somewhere else. Again, not sure how this place is so highly rated.

Disappointing Experience at This Parrilla

I had high expectations, but unfortunately, the quality of the meat and overall dining experience did not live up to them.

Chorizo: The chorizo was a letdown. It had a questionable quality, with a filling that resembled something closer to a hotdog than a proper sausage. It was served almost immediately after ordering, and to make matters worse, it was lukewarm. I sent it back, and while they quickly replaced it, the second one was just as tepid. Chorizo should arrive sizzling hot with a flavorful, coarse filling, not this overly processed, uniformly minced version. On top of that, I had to request chimichurri and wait several minutes for it—something you shouldn’t have to do at a parrilla. Entraña: One of the standout cuts at any parrilla, but not here. The waiter explained that they didn’t serve it because they couldn’t find a "good enough" cut. This is the first time I’ve ever heard a parrilla make such an excuse. If you can't source quality cuts, you shouldn't be calling yourself a parrilla. Asado de Tira: The ribs were disappointingly short, greasy, and lacked substantial meat. The few edible bits that remained were barely satisfying, leaving me hungry and unsatisfied. The cuts just didn’t seem up to par, which is disappointing given how central ribs are to the parrilla experience. Atmosphere: They market themselves as a Bodegón, but the ambiance doesn’t match the authenticity. The atmosphere was oddly upscale, with waiters serving meat with two spoons like you might find in a fine dining restaurant, not a casual parrilla. There seemed to be too much focus on presentation and appearances, while the food itself fell short. Service and Bill: Despite the issues, they didn’t adjust the bill. When I mentioned it, they only took off the price of the chorizo. Considering the overall experience, I expected a more generous response. 45 USD for a really bad meal. In a neighborhood like Palermo, where great parrillas are plentiful, this one doesn’t make the cut. It’s overpriced for the quality of meat and service, and I’d recommend trying one of the many other options in the...

I advise you to reconsider going. We entered and two waiters passed not even greeting us and only after we sat, said the table is reserved (the EMBARRASSMENT). Maybe our fault, maybe not, but at least notice that someone came in.... The service was slow, we waited for a long time to get the menu, then the water, and so on. Some glasses seemed a bit dirty. The food was ok, fries were eh. Not sure if it's coincidence or not, but the cuba libre was put in front of the man, as well as the waiter asked him about the bill (the waiter used 'señor', not 'chicos' to indicate he was speaking to both of us), even though I paid. Now the problem about the bill, when the waiter brang it, he said 'the tip is not included', we left around the amount that was written, BUT the waiter comes back (didn't even bring the change!) and says, again, 'sorry, the tip is not included'. I have NEVER anywhere been in a situation where the waiter asks for a tip. Tips are for when you liked the service, not a compulsory tax for shi/t service. Point is, the food didn't compensate for all this, there are better places to go, save your nerves. (Consider me as someone who rarely leaves a...

Unfortunately, it was the worst, worst experience in a restaurant which I’ve ever had. We were there on November 14 in the evening. First of all, the waiter did not give any recommendations in regards to the food, if the portions would be too big or what would go well with which food. Then, we asked for a meal with half of the portion only, since we expect the portion to be too big to eat. The waiter agreed to bring a smaller portion, but did not mention at all that this will not affect the price. At the end, we were charged at the original price and prices at this restaurant are quite high. For the quality of the food, it was over-priced. When we asked the waiter about the bill, and why the price was not changed, even though we asked for a smaller portion, he said he forgot to mention but also did not apologize. The meal I had was with beef, mushrooms and cheese, there was no sauce!!! The meat was really dry, the ingredients unfortunately did not go well together. I cannot recommend...
