Avoid! We dined here based on the good rating. The ambience was not great but the food was just bad. The menu was far too big! A massive menu spanning several pages is a big red flag but we were too tired after travelling to change restaurants. The bread basket on the table was poor quality. Our sparking water was served out of small plastic bottles which were left on the table. We ordered one thing as it was made very clear that everything on the menu is for sharing. We got a massive plate of huge cheap, under seasoned pasta with poorly cooked mushrooms that was expensively priced. The service provided lacked any finesse. A last-minute change of plans by my brother-in-law saw us dine here last weekend.

The staff were polite and didn't fuss over us too much. Just the right level of attention.

Delicious starters; salmon in a lemon and pepper sauce, mozzarella and prosciutto.

Three different main courses were selected; a mushroom risotto, lomo with asparagus and a pollock and king prawn dish. Excellent.

A perfect marriage of simplicity and flavor. First of all, the dishes are of an immense size, the portions are for 2 people as indicated on the menu. The presentation is humble and homemade-like, no frills, no excessive garnish, in fact hardly any garnish. The entire focus is on FLAVOR and technique. Presentation is a secondary concern.

Flavors are delightful and the seafood (their specialty and forte) is fresh. What more could a customer ask for?

The service is very friendly and the atmosphere low-key but quite elegant.
