Restaurante La Posta — Restaurant in El Calafate

I was looking for a place to try Guanaco meat and I randomly found this restaurant while walking towards the Laguna. I couldn't wish for anything better! Prices are really affordable and cheaper than the main avenue places. I had grilled Guanaco for 8 dollars (blue rate). It was simply delicious, marinated with herbs, served with almond cream, pumpkins, and something similar to chimichurri (also for free you get as entrance a meat pastry with lots of warm bread of different kinds). Everything was perfectly cooked, especially the meat was so soft and juicy. Also the staff is amazing! It's like a luxury but affordable restaurant. Absolutely the best place I've been eating in Argentina for the price/quality rate, would recommend it...

It's one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was incredibly tasty. The Guanacos, the empanadas y los eclairs were out of this world. And Ema th waiter is some of the best waitress I ever witnessed in my life, and I've been served in more than 40...

Sopar de qualitat. Acudim al restaurant amb una colla d’amics amb la reserva feta i el menú preestablert per mor de guanyar temps. La nostra taula estava a punt a l’hora prevista. Tot i que fan diverses especialitats de cuina Patagònia en tractar-se del sopar vam demanar un menú que no fos carregós. Per això ens van servir una crema de carabassa i un xai guisat amb patates, tot molt ben cuinat i presentat. Per rematar-ho i seguint la tònica del menú, les postres van ser una amanida de fruites del temps. Sense complicacions. Servei impecable, transició entre plats perfecte. Per tot això aquest és un dels restaurants recomanables...
