I’m a foreigner not fluent in Spanish. I bought half a baguette, a ham & cheese empanada, and a custard pastry, priced at 1,100, 2,500, and 900 pesos, respectively. At 4 PM on December 3rd, a young woman working there charged 8,000 pesos on my card.

It felt strange, so I went back, and they refunded the money. (Even then, they miscalculated and gave back 400 pesos less.) I can’t tell if it was intentional, but when you visit this place, make sure to ask for the price of each item! 😡
