Anteb Restaurant Review: “A Soul-Feeding, Parskahay Paradise”
Let me tell you about this magical place called Anteb, where the food isn’t just served—it’s serenaded to your soul. The moment I walked in, I swear I heard angels singing, and no, it wasn’t just the belly full of dolma I was dreaming about.
As a Parskahay, finding food that can teleport you straight back to your mother’s kitchen is like discovering a hidden treasure—pure gold, my friend. Anteb does exactly that, with a side of nostalgia so powerful, it might just make you cry into your hummus.
Let’s talk about the rice. Oh, the rice! It’s like it was cooked by the same hands that made every comforting meal of my childhood. Fluffy, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned, this rice is a therapy session on a plate. And then there’s the chicken and kabob. The chicken? So tender it practically melts in your mouth. The kabob? It’s like biting into a piece of your heart (but, you know, in a good way).
The whole experience at Anteb feels like you’ve been invited to a family gathering where you’re the favorite child. The food, the atmosphere, the people—it all feels like home, just without the inevitable family drama.
In short, if you’re Parskahay, or just have taste buds, Anteb is your sanctuary. It’s not just food; it’s a spiritual experience. Your mental soul will be restored, your belly will be full, and you might even start calling the chef “mom” by the end of the night.
10/10, would cry over...
Read moreDon’t visit this place if you don’t want to be treated like homeless dog who’s asking for food. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. They brought the wrong order instead of Arabic lahmajo with pomegranate sauce which we mentioned before ordering they brought Adana, the simple lahmajo. And when we noticed while eating that this isn’t the one that we ordered, the waitress just said ok I will tell the chef for the next time. Which doesn’t make sense at all. Anyway before paying the bill my husband politely asked, don’t you want to say or do anything about what you have done wrong, the young man answered what do you want me to do? At least they could have said sorry. Or if they were customer oriented they could offer one free lahmajo which we didn’t get and won’t be back never again. And won’t recommend anyone from locals to visit. I liked the...
Read moreFood was good. Smoking inside was no fun, but you have to get used to it so I won't knock any points for that. I didn't like that we sat right in front of the a/c unit when other tables were clearly available. They wouldn't change our seats and I was uncomfortable the whole time. It's sad to watch open tables right in front of you the whole time your neck is freezing. Seriously they were open til we left, but they wouldn't move us. That's probably what made my monte taste so-so and I'm hoping that's what gave my husband his stomach pain too cuz I would hate to blame it on the food. They do have better service and they delivered my husbands phone to him when he forgot it at the restaurant which gives them an extra point. I won't visit again but I suggest everyone give them a try. The bread...
