Cascade Royal — Restaurant in Yerevan

the service was simply non existent: I called and made a reservation for a specific table when I arrived the waiter alexander refused to let us sit at the table that i made reservation for cause it’s booked! it took him a while to understand that it was booked by me! so just don’t bother to call them and make a reservation for a table cause the staff won’t be able to do their job. After 10 minutes they let us sit and we ordered drinks we were served some but we had to wait 45 minutes for a beer eventually I went and took it myself from the bar inside and used the opportunity to tell them that the service is slow and i need them to serve the food as soon as possible cause i have guests with me but instead of fixing things they made another mistake this time in the bill and tried to charge us extra for a beer we didn’t...

When we arrived, the waitress ushered us to a very secluded place away from the view although we had made a reservation 2 weeks ago. After I told another waiter that we had a reservation, he changed our table to an indoor seating place better than the first but still not as good as the outdoor place we had originally reserved. The reason they gave is that it was raining on that day and there is a possibility that it would rain again. We understood that and didn't argue any further. However, what annoyed us the most was that shortly after, another couple asked to be re-seated outside, and the waiters agreed and prepared a table for them outdoors. That was clear discrimination and a very unpleasant experience.

We ended up ordering only itch salad (which was good to be frank) and left...

This restaurant used to be a very prestigious and nice place, but believe me, not anymore...

I visited Cascade Royal a few days ago for a dinner with my friends and we were frustrated with our experience. The menu was quite limited, overpriced, mainly meaty dishes and the taste was not impressive at all. We ordered a citrus lemonade which was supposed to be with fresh fruits but tasted like Fanta with artificial coloring. The service was not impressive as well.

Coctails were ok, and the only thing worth mentioning is the view🌃🌄

Overall, I wouldn't recommend the place as of now. There are way better restaurants to visit in Yerevan with great service and atmosphere, delicious food and...
