Lumen Coffee 1936 — Restaurant in Yerevan

This is an absolute coffee gem in Armenia's beautiful capital, Yerevan! A bit off the most beaten track, but still very close to the vibrant city center. Apart from great coffee prepared with precision and great dedication by cute and helpful barista, the place has incredible interior - both historical (the very name indicates it amd it used to be a tobacco shop and a bookstore in previous decades) and modern, old music in the background just adds to the experience - you sit down, just savour every moment and don't want to leave at...

Lumen Coffee is a nice place to hang out and chill with coffee and light bites. The food and drinks are tasty but can take a long time to prepare. The fresh tarragon lemonade was over a 30-min wait but it came out as one of the freshest lemonades I've ever had (at only $4 USD!). Would recommend for a slow-paced date or hangout session. Stop by elsewhere if you're on a schedule.

The interior is impressive, but the seats and tables are much less comfortable than what you’d find at McDonald’s. The staff often come across as arrogant and visibly annoyed with customers.

Unfortunately, my dinner here today was a complete disappointment. I was served poorly made pasta with dry, inedible chicken, which later caused digestive issues. On top of that, when I asked for a hot matcha, I received a lukewarm...
