Mezzo Club — Restaurant in Yerevan

I am not trying to be an a**hole, but when a venue markets itself as an upscale club and it charges accordingly, there are some minimum requirements it MUST meet.

When my empty plate and full ashtray sits on the table for more than 20 minutes, while waiters come and go, pretending not to notice them, or they just chat neglecting their job, you do not deserve more than 1 star.

When I order a bottle of the wine that your waitress recommended, but she can't even pour a glass of wine, dripping half a glass on the table, and she doesn't even apologize, you do not deserve more than one star.

When you have a team of supposedly sound engineers and professional musicians who cannot tell when an instrument is basically mute, you do not deserve more than one star.

When a waiter bumps into my chair TWICE, and doesn't even apologize although I gave him an eye first and made a loud voice of discontent the second time, you do not deserve more than one star.

I am not gonna even mention the sashimi which was served while the fish was still frozen - I mean you can feel the ice, nor the tasteless soy sauce.

Clearly, I am VERY upset with my experience there, and...

When your waiter starts cleaning the table with a face of a funeral directory service lady, whilst there is still food left, and without asking whether you should like anything further, or done with the meal and whether she can take it all away, you can only wish for the best.

There were further disappointing points which I wouldn't like to go into details.. but overall I can asure the place is...

Classy place, they tend to bring amazing bands, the food is good quality, good selection of drinks too, their old fashioned whiskey is super. The only downside is the sound system of you are sitting at the edges or the corners of the hall ( not directly opposite to the stage) it's horrible.
