Vostan — Restaurant in Yerevan

Sooooo my review is gonna be slight long because we had lots of issues with this place.

1. I had called for booking and the man I spoke to confirmed the booking. Today when I went, the hosting staff told me there was no such booking. Plus, once I tried to explain the situation, not only I was met with a snubbish attitude, but I had to ask if there was still a place available because the girls there did not even try to solve the issue/misunderstanding. They also added that there was no man in their team, which we noticed was not the case.

2. The server came for our order and we started ordering, but then noticed there was another page in the menu and we told him to come back later because we needed more time and we had to see the new dishes. Once he came back we ordered, but he did not cancel the previous order, and he just added to it, pretending not to have understood that we had not made up our mind, which is comprehensible since the service fee depends on the amount of the bill.

So to conclude, food and location are nice, but the night may be ruined by the lack of professionalism and attention to the client of the whole staff.

P.s. I would not trust the local guides in the reviews since we noticed the whole staff was nicer to the...

Sadly, a completely spoiled evening.

We were celebrating a birthday, and what was supposed to be a special occasion turned into a constant struggle. We booked a table for a big gathering and chose the items from the menu days before. The only part which went smooth, was appetizers and salads appearing on the table in due time, before the guests arrived. Once the dinner started, the service went from bad to worse. We didn’t get all the food we preordered (even though it was in the check later on, of course), the waiters were never there to refill the drinks, the dishes didn’t appear on time and were not served the way we agreed upon. And to top it up, it took the staff literally half an hour to cut and serve the cake, making some guests leave without even trying it.

Yes, the atmosphere is nice, as mentioned in multiple reviews. Yes, the food is decent, too. Unfortunately, the overall experience is absolutely ruined by the lack of basic service and indifferent attitude towards guests.

Don't recomend this place although Its an amazing restaurant and the staff is friendly but uninformed about the dishes they serve. We asked for 3 porks bbq meals each for 2 persons. We were surprised that the 3 meals don't even match the description and they served them in one plate to hide the small amount of the dish Knowing that the waiter informed us that the meal is arround 380 grams each.Regardless ,we asked for a bottle of wine priced at 7000 local currency and when we requested the invoice it was invoiced at 9000. There has to be some serious problems at this restaurant specially when dealing with tourists , no one speaks english. I have to say that the total invoice was meaningless but we could have chosen a better place for getting a better quality/quantity for each portion.
