Service has gone down hill 90%. Always close for business for no reason. Today they ran out of congee yet still took order. When enquired, we were told it was cooking. After another 20 minutes. Still no congee. Then called another woman who told us she was the mother of the owner. She told us they ran out of congee, new one was not ready yet. The strange thing is they would still need more congee for their evening trade. Why didn't they make more for the day. To me they didn't have their heart in running their business properly. Craving some congee so decided to stop by this somewhat new place after church today. Ordered the OG century egg congee and pan-fried buns. Both were best in town. Especially the congee, which was rich and creamy. One of those rare good "juks", and not some soupy rice. The buns were hot and crispy too. Overall portions quite generous for the price.

The guy serving us I think he's the owner, he's very friendly and quick. Not too crowded during lunch, which we prefer.
