We had a very DISAPPOINTING luch on Monday. It is with regret that I bring to your attention the conduct of one of your staff members. The individual in question is a lady who can speaks Vietnamese. When we was waiting for the food, her approach toward customer service was notably unacceptable. She pushed the food cart in front of us with a visibly unhappy demeanor, and her interaction with us was marked by a rough and unfriendly tone of voice. This was not an isolated incident, as we had previously spoken to a manager regarding her behavior, yet, regrettably, we observed no improvement in her attitude towards customers during our latest time.
My family and I have always enjoyed dining at your restaurant because of the exquisite food and the warm hospitality extended by the boss and the rest of the team.
However, the last two visits have been a cause for disappointment, primarily due to the aforementioned staff member's attitude. As paying customers, we anticipate a certain level of respect and courtesy from all staff members. We believe that the essence of a pleasant dining experience extends beyond just the quality of food; it encompasses the professionalism of the service as well.
It is disheartening to consider that such behavior could deter us from returning to your place in the future. We genuinely hope that this matter will be addressed appropriately, ensuring that all customers receive the welcoming and respectful service that we have come to know and expect from your...
Read moreFirst time trying yumcha in Adelaide, based on highest reviews on Google. Must say i was quite disappointed with the food. They quickly sat us down and were quick to give us tea and quick to collect our plates once we finished our food. (Which is standard at any yumcha place)
The prawn dumpling 蝦餃 had thick and soggy skin that stuck to the metal, the prawn filling was nice but I believe how you know if the dumpling is good or not is based on how the skin turns out, not just the filling. This was unfortunately the same for the 韭菜餃 prawn and chive dumpling and shiu mai 燒賣.
The only thing we liked was the chinese doughnut rice roll 炸兩 at least it was crispy when it was served. We tried the glutinous chicken too but the rice was super dry and strangely it was served inside a bun…
Moving onto the super salty minced garlic that they put on top of the chicken feet 鳳爪 unfortunately did not help with the rating, definitely would not recommend for yumcha at all, there are nicer yumcha places i’m sure.
Radish cake 蘿蔔糕 was crispy though, and custard lava cake 流沙包 was good but served cold as we were about to finish we heard the table behind us also complaining amongst themselves based on the taste of the...
Read moreI just dined at a Chinese restaurant with my cousins and nephew near the hotel where I am staying . Initially, the service was acceptable; we asked for a table for four without a reservation and were seated promptly.
We ordered tea-smoked duck, sweet and sour pork, vegetables, and soup. However, when the food arrived, it was quite disappointing. The tea-smoked duck was greasy and lacked the smoky flavor and aroma typically associated with the dish—it tasted more like a standard roast duck. The sweet and sour pork, which my nephew usually enjoys, was overcooked and dry. The soup was also below average.
To make matters worse, after paying the bill and leaving the restaurant, we realized we had been charged for a dish that we never received. When we approached the staff to request a refund, they were dismissive and rude, blaming us for not checking the receipt on the spot.
Overall, the subpar food and poor service made for a frustrating dining experience. Even my 11-year-old nephew, who typically loves Chinese food, found the meal unappetizing and barely touched it. It was clear that the staff didn’t care about the quality of the food or the satisfaction of their customers, which was a...
