I’m really sad to leave this review, but I believe it’s necessary for the management of Cozinha because the food is genuinely delicious. However, a few small details left much to be desired.

Today, some colleagues and I decided to order Brazilian food. Specifically, a colleague and I ordered a PF (Prato Feito) through Uber Eats and chose to share a portion of Pão de Queijo with the rest of the team. My colleague opted for the Picanha version, while I went with the chicken. We both agreed that the meats were incredibly tender and flavorful.

The food arrives in separate containers: the beans come in a spare plastic container, while the rice, salad (a mix of leafy greens that, unfortunately, was placed together with the hot food…), potatoe chips, and farofa come in a paper container. That wouldn’t be a problem in itself, but when we mixed the beans into the paper container, we didn’t realize there was a layer of paper-like underneath the food.

We only noticed it when my colleague felt it in his mouth, mixed with the beans, rice, and farofa. I managed to remove mine, but my colleague’s had already torn into small pieces. To make matters worse, the paper released a pink/blue/purple pigment (photo attached), which raised concerns about potential chemical substances in it—an absolutely unpleasant experience, especially for someone trying Brazilian food for the first time.

Additionally, when we ordered the Pão de Queijo via Uber Eats (as shown in the screenshot), the listing stated that we would receive 7 pieces. However, we only received 3 (unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture). They were quite small and cost $13, which we found absurd. We originally intended to share them among more colleagues, but that wasn’t possible.

On top of that, they included two Ouro Branco chocolates, which are a popular Brazilian treat and not easy to find here. However, both arrived completely shattered (photo attached).

I was really disappointed because I had seen many positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was far from great. I had spoken so highly about Brazilian food, and yet my colleague’s first impression didn’t live up to my enthusiasm.

I truly believe that Cozinha has a lot of room for improvement in their delivery service, and I hope to have a better...

A local gem of a brazilian coffee shop and restaurant, a must try for anyone that likes great coffee and amazing food… which I imagine is everyone in Adelaide!!

Highly, highly recommend the cheese bread and picanha with scrambled eggs for breakfast, it’s unbelievably good.

For lunch, you can’t go wrong with the pumpkin prawns, a truly authentic brazilian dish. Coffee… just get literally anything you like and it will be the best coffee in Adelaide. And I must mention the brazilian sides like “bolinho de bacalhau”, “quibe” and fried cassava are truly special and a must try!

THE COFFEE ☕️: The barista and owner Carlos is a true coffee making master which is no surprise given his extensive and renowned history in all aspects of the coffee world. Ask him for anything you fancy straight out of your coffee dreams and he will brew a perfectly crafted coffee customised for you - the quality and taste is unmatched! And best of all, with locally sourced fresh beans!

THE FOOD 🥘: The food is made by head chef and owner Tassia and just as good if not somehow better than the incredible coffee - which is a mindblowing feat in its own right. Probably the most authentic brazilian menu you could find in Australia, with dishes that will have you wanting to book a trip straight to Brazil 🛫😂. All dishes are perfectly balanced and show a different side and flavour of Brazil. The ingredients are fresh and clearly of high quality which make all the difference in the world!

VIBE 🎶🌿: THE most welcoming and friendly staff I have come across in a coffee shop - staff is always happy to accommodate requests and make sure you have the best experience possible, no matter if just for a simple coffee takeaway or a full lunch banquet with your family. The vibe is immaculate with great service, nice tunes/music and a...

After an exhausting 12-hour ferry ride followed by another 12 hours on the road 😵‍💫, I desperately needed some comfort food to feel better. Ordering delivery from Cozinha turned out to be the perfect choice! The food was absolutely delicious! I requested everything to be packaged separately, and they delivered perfectly - with an excellent and generous portion of meat. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. 🤤😍

They were also very responsive to all my questions via Instagram (@cozinhaau), which made the ordering process smooth and reassuring. (I ordered through uber eats)

I'm already excited to visit in person next time and try more of their delicious Brazilian dishes.

Thank you, Cozinha, for making my exhausting travel day so much better with your amazing food...
