We went on vacation to Australia to visit our friends and soak up the sun and atmosphere of the land down under. Everyplace we went was great, friendly people great food/drink and atmosphere. However this joint was a total letdown, the workers there are inconsiderate and rude (bordering on hostile) when we showed up 5- literally 5 minutes late after booking a booth to sit at. They didn't hold it for 5 lousy minutes!! Then when we asked for a more quiet section to sit and drink our drinks to talk because they wouldn't gives us a different booth (we saw many unattended w/o people there but I guess these lazy workers just 'couldn't find the time" to clean it off for another set of people to sit). When we finally did get a spot to sit (20 minute wait!!)- in a more louder and hectic area then we wanted, The employees again were not too friendly nor did they serve us without an attitude. This joint caters to young people who want to go to a place to "hook-up" and is not one for adults who what an opportunity for meaningful conversation and camaraderie.

Also when we called to book the booth we asked for price quotes and were given much lower prices than what we experienced when we went there which was a bait & switch routine that they try to use to take advantage of people drinking and not really of the keen mindset. Visited for the first time on Saturday night for a function and was disappointed but amused at how laughable the management of the place is. They failed to let the host know prior to arrival that their pre-arranged choice of booth for guests was unavailable due numbers/COVID, instead we were stuck in a tiny, closed off tent out the back corner where social distancing was not possible anyway. The COVID marshalling was hilarious, religiously telling people to sit down (without drinking) but while casually placing his hand on the patrons shoulders (myself included). Certainly made to feel like we didn't matter, and had a great surprise when we learned that we had to leave at 11pm due to the first "session" finishing, which we had not been notified about - despite asking via email several times prior to the night and recieving no reply. The owner(s) were rude and unable to accept any responsibility for the stuff ups, instead blaming COVID and that they are busy, getting "300 emails per day". How about a little business management? There are bigger, busier venues that still manage to meet their client's needs without acting like children when someone complains. Finger pointing is unacceptable, children. Grow up. 21ST BIRTHDAY RUINED Booked this venue for a 21st three months in advance as December is a busy time and I wanted to secure a place and also give my guests plenty of notice. Communication with the venue initially was easy and I booked the venue for my date with no problem. Offered more than 5 times to put down a deposit in order to secure my spot, but was constantly denied it, and wasn’t presented any details to do so even if I wanted to. I had been communicating with Blaze about my event and said she would contact me a week before my event to organise food and drinks. With a week to go till my event, no chase up, and after I chased it up, Blaze contacted me saying they ended up renting out my room to somebody else due to the fact that I hadn't 'given a deposit' and had “no record of me booking the room on this date” even though we had emailed and called multiple times and up until the last moment I was determined to give a deposit to secure my spot. Blaze handled it completely unprofessionally, ended up offering me a crowded-non-private space to host my party. Which is not special at all - Big NO! Seemed like she didn’t care and did not want to take responsibility. Imagine if I hadn’t called a week ahead to try and finalise food and we all showed up thinking it was all booked?!?! Now I’m left with no place to host my event and not even a word of apology. Utterly...
