Ordered on DoorDash. Prompt delivery meant I was able to enjoy the food close to the quality of ordering in store. Not that you could tell any difference, steak and eggs cooked to perfection, and the most ā€˜bland’ part of most dishes, white rice, was the surprise stand out of the meal. Flavourful, buttery and fragrant, the best rice I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve learnt what I’m sure will be my new favourite way to cook rice.

Pretty hard to find something even close to fault about this place; sustainable packaging, generous proportions for good prices, and from what I’ve read the in store experience is even better.

You don’t find many places like this anymore, be sure to support the ones that go the extra mile so others will follow suit, this restaurant is a trailblazer of simple food done impeccably, something that’s starting to get lost in cafes and restaurants...

I had a feijoada, a Brazilian tradition, made with black beans, pork, and beef as a stew. Side dishes were plain white rice, cassava ā€œfarofaā€ (impossible to describe, just try it!), kale in stripes, pork belly crackle (top 5 I ever had in my life!), and a fried egg on top. It all goes great together in a symphony of flavour and depths. The music was Brazilian ā€œpopular musicā€, a genre that some will confuse as Bossa Nova, although some of the songs overlap with it. Long story short, if I closed my eyes I could imagine I was back in Brazil on a lazy Saturday, the traditional day for Feijoada. Best part? All of it for less than you will pay for some second class Schnitty. Do yourself a favour...

Coxinha & Brazilian Fried Rice were the clear standout dishes. The picanha on top of the rice was perfectly seasoned!!

The chilli oil on the table was SENSATIONAL, I ended up buying it for my home!

The Feijoada was a generous dish! Really enjoyed the textures of the pork belly, chorizo, and stewed meat. It also came with casava crumbs that tasted like toasted panko, it was a great touch. A medley of flavors and layers of textures.

The coxinha was bomb! šŸ’£ You have to order it!

The only caveat was the exterior of the place wasn’t so appealing. I love the interior of the restaurant but you can’t ignore the hideous building next door.

The food of this place is a real taste of Brazil. I have ordered Feijoada and Canjica for desert and i must say it was the best Feijoada and Canjica i had outside Brazil. I’ve been living abroad for about 14 years and i have eaten in so many other Brazilian restaurants, but Trivial is a real gem. You can taste the good quality of the ingredients and the freshness bring all the flavours to the dish. I high recommend this place for anyone who really want to have the experience of trying some traditional Brazilian favorite dishes. The Masterchef Carol and Tiago were super friendly. The atmosphere and the background music brought me back home. I cannot recommend enough.

Great dinner! Delicious fried rice with beef, the beef was tender, juicy, medium rare and full of flavor and rice was amazing! Fried rice with red and black-eyes beans, fried halloumi and bacon - very nutritious! And portions are generous. My partner took Brazilian bowl with barramundi, salsa and beans, the beans are served separately like a soup in a bowl - delicious! And deserts… despite the fact that we were both extremely full, we took one slice of chocolate cake and a dulce lĆØche cannoli and they were great as well! Enjoyed the whole meal - I would definitely come again and bring friends there!
