BAD.
Arrive at the restaurant at around 1.35. Sent the order through the QR code at 1.49pm.
3 mains and 1 hot chocolate with oat milk. The ONLY drink we ordered was served after 20minutes, i don’t know why the hot chocolate drink would take up 20minutes, but it’s fine.
NGL, the hot chocolate looks really nice, but it’s one of the WORST chocolate drinks I’ve ever had.
I don’t think it’s the problem of the oat milk as they use [the alternative] brand which is what I normally use to make my own oat chocolate at home. The taste of it just terrible. Mixing Milo powder with hot water even tastes better than this.
Well then. After being waiting for 40 minutes without see any of our food being served - at 2.30pm, I went the front counter and ask if they our food were being prepared as it wasn’t busy at all.
They told me they DID NOT RECEIVE the order. Yes. After 40 MINUTES waiting for our first meal of the day. and they said they can’t do anything as the kitchen’s closed.
So the girl offered to refund and get us each free drinks or sandwich etc. but seriously, I wouldn’t want any drink even if it’s free after trying the chocolate.
I remember their food being good last year I visited. However seeing a table of 3, sitting there for that period of time with only one drinks on the table, your staff should at least come and ask if we need anything. Instead of just letting us sitting there and wait for nothing.
What doesn’t make sense was how do you guys receive the drink offer, but not the food order? Apparently it’s in your system otherwise how can you see our order from the device and make the refund? This is just unacceptable.
Yes I’m very upset. Because the drinks was so bad. And the service...
Read moreMango Khao Neow - Thai sticky rice, chunk-cut mango, coconut cream, vanilla gelato: this is what I had. The dish was pretty good! The sticky rice was excellent. The mango chunks were very good, but the mango was somehow quite bland 🤷😅. . Matcha Paradise - Pancake stacks, creme de matcha, matcha lava, matcha dust, toasted marshmallow: this is one of their best dishes I think. Super creative! Good matcha flavours. . Frits Gelato - vanilla gelato, panko bread crumb, madeira cake, salted caramel sauce: this dish was essentially a fancier version of a fried ice cream. It was good, but thought it could have been more creative with the ice cream flavour. . Velvetious Waffle - Belgian waffle, mixed berry, mixed berry compote, fairy floss, strawberry gelato: you would enjoy this dish if you like the raspberry/mixed berry compote being on the sour side. But if you prefer your dessert sweet, then it might not be for you. The combination of berry compote and strawberry ice cream might be a bit too much berry overload 😅😅. . Classic Brulee - vanilla bean, milk, cream, vanilla gelato: this was a good classic dessert, with a nicely done hard surface 🙂🙂. . Mango Panna Cotta - chunk-cut mango, mango compote, unhomogenised milk, cream: the panna cotta had a nice texture, but the mango compote was quite bland. . Matcha latte: always trust an Asian place to do a decent matcha latte 😜😜. This one was...

Beautiful cafe with great set up , but when we ordered a Vienna hot chocolate and a soy latte. The hot chocolate tasted like very cheap cocoa powder mixed in with water but just dressed up very fancy to look expensive. same with the latte, it was slightly bitter and average tasting. The Persian love cake we ordered was dried out too. We also sat at the back end near the kitchen and it suddenly smelled like paint thinner (no idea why lol) so we got our drinks, had a few sips which we didn’t like the taste and then left. The staff were lovely though and polite. If ur going to look like an expensive bougie cafe our expectations will be higher. I did like everything else but I think we just expected more because it’s such a beautiful cafe. May try it out one more time in the future! Maybe it was just...
